Any spinners out there want to swap for sewn/embroidered stuff? I'm getting back into knitting and would love some handspun yarn and/or a kit to make my own!

Hmm...Always wanted to join one.  But should I?  I promised myself when I joined the 50 projects in 2011 that I would focus on crafting for people closer to home specifically the huge list of never started and incomplete craft projects for my daughter.  I would also have a tough time asking someone.  It does feel an awful lot like being the geeky kid asking a popular kid to the prom.

Hmm...I will give it some thought.

You two are making me blush over here.  Smiley

I'll see how I do after the holiday rush is over.  I have to get started on Aria's Bday gifts but I do think I want to do this swap.

I'd be interested in sewn/embroidered stuff!  I'm wanting to get back to my wheel, and this would be a great excuse to put aside all the other crafting.  And I've got a friend who is making me drop spindles...if I ever get him that wood lol... so I have a few extra (like you can really have a few extra..... )

I would be interested in an IYP swap!  I've never done one before but always drooled over the galleries.   Cheesy But I think I'd be nervous to ask people to partner with me as well.  That seems to be the overall group feeling though.   Roll Eyes

Ive done a few IYP's.....  asked a partner in one, got set up from a fellow craftster for another, and have been asked a few times....  they have all been GREAT FUN, and I have received some of the best stuff.... but I will say, to get a PM from someone asking you to be their partner... well, it gives you warm fuzzies all over....someone out there LOVES the stuff you do and loves it so much that they pick you out of so many craftsters to ask..... how can you turn them down....

I know there are circumstances.... timing isnt right, to many swaps, so on and so on...

What I am trying to say, to those of you who are nervous about asking someone....
GO FOR IT, ASK AWAY, Give someone that "warm fuzzy" feeling, and even if they cant be your partner rght now, just remember you made them feel like one in a million at least for a moment!!.... Grin

There are a lot of people I want to ask, but crochet seems like such a common craft anymore, and a lot of the people I want to ask crochet as well as 9 billion other things!! This totally feels like sadie hawkins!!
