My three months old twin granddaughters have an insane amount of onesies (baby shower gifts).
However, they are short of pants, so I decide to give a try at making simple baby pants.
I found a great tutorial at http://www.made-by-rae.com/2010/10/free-raes-basic-newborn-pant-sewing.html and using fabrics from my craft bin I made them five pairs of pants.
My favorite pair is the one with the vintage psychedelic fabric from the 1960s and fortunately, there was enough fabric to make them a matching bib.

Now, I am looking for fabrics with fun prints for more groovy pants  =)

oooh I wish I could find sweet fabric like that!    Those pants are super cute!  They are all awesome though.  can't go wrong with bitty people clothes for cuteness!

Thank you,
Belladune, I find many vintage fabrics in my local Thrifty store. They are really cheap. I just got 1 ½ yard of a red and white vintage Scandinavian print fabric for $1.29. I am thinking valentines’ day pants  Wink

nuttywoman, I love planning the baby shower. I am already asking my daughter to decide on a theme for the girls first birthday party so I can start developing ideas and crafts for their summer party  Cheesy  I am a planner.
