needle books are so useful for sewers and embroiderers. they save us from keeping our pins and needles in the arm of the couch, or pinned to the hems of our skirts for safekeeping.

they're fun and not especially time-consuming to make, and light to post, so i thought that a swap for exchanging needle books might be a fun idea.

they can be made of fabric or felt, or a combination of the two. they can be appliqued, embroidered, patchwork, or pretty much anything else you can think of. the variations are endless!

what do you think?

When were you thinking about starting this swap?
I was just thinking the other day about how I wish I had a needle book!

Sounds interesting, never thought about making my own needle book but I can imagine it's really nice to have one. If I still have enough spots left when this starts I'll sign up Smiley
