And here is my awesome package from penelopewaits!

penelopewaits did a very awesome thing with her journal. She did every day on an index card. I think that is brilliant! Every card is something different. She talks about herself, her partner, her family, friends and her fur-babies. It's all complete with little polaroid pictures and other bits and pieces.


Here are a couple of interesting cards ( I found every single on of them interesting!! This is just for picture purpopses )

Cross stitch! I love cross stitch and it's one of  my first crafty loves too. My mother taught me and I've been doing it ever since.


I love the little quilted piece on this card. I wish I could quilt.


I love the paper piecing on this card. Pressies!


She also took a peek at my wist and found a couple of homeschooling t shirts I want and made the saying in to buttons. Wee! These are going on my kids' coats immediately! I would have taken a pic of one of them with it on but they are all sick and snotty and not very good humoured today.


Thank you so much for letting me in to your life, penelopewaits! I feel thankful that you let me take a peek and shared so much with me. As I said in my other note to you, we have quite a bit in common.

I agree! I love the idea of using index cards for journalling and I would have never thought of it.

Oh gosh, I have been absent so long, there is so much I have to make up for. I am really sorry I was, Smmarrt knows why, but I should have come online to at least say that I was still in... Anyway, my package is sent at last, and I also received mine last Friday - I blame the snow for the long time it took.
I only just looked fleetingly at all the photos, but what i did see looked great.

Now I've seen that Smmarrt had already posted pics of her package but has taken them down again, so you might have seen this before. I do really love what she sent, the journal was very large and I loved the paper. It wasn't the normal white, but rather brownish (but nice!), and she often used prints or a dotted background.













the small crafted item she sent was a necklace made from a stone of domino which I think is a really great idea:



in addition she sent some supplies and other small items, namely: two handmade notebooks, flowers to iron on, buttons, buttons (I don't know the English word, circled pins?), cards and envelopes with a stamped bird/frog, pencils (which I used already), two cards with recipe/crafting tut on the back, an instruction for a simple notebook, small cards with Happy Birthday/I love you written on them and some blank cards to create ATCs - I hope I didn't forget anything, it was so much and so awesome!
