I don't think I've posted on craftster in years, but I want to start back. And since I've made a whole lot of stuff for the holidays, why not now?  Grin Warning in advance-- the photos are not the best, but at least you can sort of make out what it all is, if you squint.

A wreath I decorated:

I just got a cheap wreath form last year and put some felt and fabric flower brooches on it (http://blog.betzwhite.com/2007/01/felted-brooch-tutorial.html). The design was definitely influenced by the look of this one (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=281660.0) and another one I can't locate. Oh well.

I made several plushies for friends and family, but since I don't want to repost these images ten gazillion times, I'll just link to the post I made about them. There are squirrels, a microbe, and, um, Lady Gaga in Borg wear. ...The people I know are weird.

The squirrels were for a married couple I know who is obsessed with squirrels and other fuzzy creatures. Here is all of what I made them:

They had some $16 lavender sachets on their amazon wishlist. Screw that. I can make that.

And I did.
A handful of delicious pie-flavored Lara bars completed the present, and now it's all set to be mailed. Hooray!

I secretly want to be a ninja. With sparkly fairy wings!

Those squirrels are adorable!

the ravens and the seagulls push each other inward and outward
inward and outward
in this place that i call home
my brain's the cliff, and my heart's the bitter buffalo
