(IMAGE HEAVY-you've been warned)

My package came in Tuesday evening. I apologize for taking so long to get it up here but my computer fried this last weekend and the spare we have is a dinosaur.

Anyways with out further ado the WONDERFUL package I got from Selkie.

The total lot: Book bag, book, decorations, tin, candy, and journal.

A close up of the bag and book, I believe it's felted but honestly I wouldn't really know to be able to say:

My favorite episode is the witch in the wardrobe, so I got this beautiful tin to keep at my desk:

And finally this Amazing book which I absolutely love:
Front Cover:

Inside page:

There are several death certificates:
Anthropology pages:

FBI Badge:

Quotes:

The hearse song:

Between these glimpses is several designs of paper from lines to stationary. This is by far my new favorite journal.

Thank you soooo much!

I'm so relieved... I'm so paranoid about whether people will like what I made...
The bag is indeed knit & felted - it was about twice the size when I knit it...
I had so much fun with the witch in the wardrobe - that was the absolute first thing I thought of... I had to go through several versions before I came up with that one - and I 'had to buy another dictionary' from the thrift shop because I'd already cut all the skeletons out of all the others!!!
I LOVE making notebooks like that! So I'm really excited that you like it too - believe it or not - that was supposed to be the medium project!!!
It was just serendipity that the Kathy Reichs book fit into the bag - I made the strap long figuring you could tie a knot into it to shorten it to the length that's right for you!

ENJOY!!!

Power is strength and the ability to see yourself through your own eyes and not through the eyes of another. It is being able to place a circle of power at your own feet and not take power from someone else's circle.
