The jewelry category is hard enough to compete in without resellers bumping one further back in the search.  Angry

I am saddened that folks are buying non handmade & thinking it is the real deal especially. I found several four leaf clover jewelry & key ring items listed on etsy which are readily available at alibaba & at made-in-china.

Have you guys ever flagged something with success? Do the items only get removed...or do the sellers get removed? I'd be suspicious that the whole shop is full of non handmade if they have one item that is clearly not ...even if I cannot find a source online. I wouldnt' trust them at all.

I frequently flag items that are not handmade. I would encourage other people to do the same. Smiley That being said, I have rarely checked up to see how they're dealt with.

I *do* know that items I've reported due to copyright violations of Craftster materials have been taken down quickly but that might be apples and oranges.

I have never flagged anything myself, but I have pretty much stopped trying etsy for my jewelry simply because of the mass amounts of cheaply/pre made items that push me way down

i report them to www.regretsy.com then they expose them on their website.

stuff the re-sellers, especially items that are not handmade and listed as handmade,it defeats the purpose.

I hate that..  but I also hate it when people buy your stuff and try to resell it on there..  I stopped selling on etsy for abit just til I have more wares to put up and not jewelry.. that place is swamped..
