I made this bag a few weeks ago. I made some changes, I didn't do piping because I thought I would get frustrated really fast if I tried that.

Wish I made the straps thicker and longer.

I like my outside pockets, so far nothing has fallen out, yet. I knew I was sewing it on crooked but that point i just didn't care.

My first inside zipper, didn't go so well but it works.

This is only the 3rd bag I made ever and I have been getting compliments on it. I don't think anyone can resist those cute animals.  Smiley

Thanks for the tutorial. The next one I make will have more pockets and I will buy a strap from strapworks.

i know its been a while (a year!) but its such a great tutorial and i only just stumbled upon it. I'd love to make one for school, and I'll definitely post pics when I'm done, but i was wondering about how long is your strap?

This was a great tutorial! Thank you!  It was on my to do list for almost a year before completing it.  I used a canvas fabric, instead of vinyl, for a rugged/frayed look.
