I really couldn't be happier with how he turned out! He's not entirely finished here, missing his sealer but I have to show him off =) I'm really in awe of what I'm able to do when I put my mind to it, I keep looking at him, it's hard to believe I made him.

And I made some beads! I never really thought I would make beads lol Thought I'd leave that to the pro bead makers, they know what they're doing, they really do! But I have a request for earrings to match 2 pendants and I thought beads would be best. I know I'll try other methods to make earrings, too, but now I believe I will also start making loose beads, too =) They came out pretty cool.

I don't really know what to say, both the octopus and beads are amazing, I love everything about them, high detailed and really nicely painted.

LOVE the faux-metal beads!
Onlays and texturing clay can be simple but still express high stylishness (or funkiness, or whatever) from the maker (whether they've had metallic powders added or not), and these are great examples of that.

Definitely explore beads since they're so small that they're great canvases for trying things out, etc, playing with variations, etc.  And if you use the beads for earrings your jewelry collection will quickly expand hugely in color/style/etc (and can even be great advertising at the same time Grin).
