I'm sure that he didn't pitch it.  You're a rare sort of fan, and I garuntee that portrait will be in a spot of honor.  A friend of mine from the MLPArena did something like that.  She's a fan of Lloyd Gareth-Davies so she made a my little pony of Ianto from Torchwood.  When he was at a con, she gave it to him.  It's in his kitchenXD

I also really like this portrait.  I used to look after a charity case at the kenel where I worked.  He was half wolfhound, half wire-haired terrier which made him an 85-lb lapdog that was completely insane.  Best dog ever.  Make that portrait with slightly less hair and tan with a white spot on his throat and you'd have my boy.  Just lovely.
