I had a great deal of fun making this fairy. She's much prettier in real life. For some reason I can't seem to photograph her well. Anyhow here she is in all her mixed media goodness. Haven't named her yet...

wow.  she is cool.
what did you make her body with, paper maiche?

I recently realized I have all this nude power mesh that would be great for making some sort of "dolls"

maybe i will make a fairy for the littlest girl....

Thank you!!

You know, I've never used mesh before (and if you look in my papier mache gallery in my siggy, you can see I've done a lot of papier mache!) but I would like to try it one time. It would dry really quickly that way!

This girl's made with store bought paper pulp. I've never 'bought' it before and always hand-made it, but I thought I would try it out and see if I could be more productive if it was made easier, and so far so good!!
