I've now finished a small and the medium. I'll get the other small done this weekend. And, I'll probably make a little bag to contain the other small, but that shouldn't take long.

So I've already send my partner her package and recipes so I figured I'd share this with everyone...

My close friend who goes to the same Bible study as us is the ONLY one who tries to make something vegetarian for hubby for our weekly potluck dinner...she hunted down this vegetable bouillon recipe so that she does not have to worry about why type of broth she used (she makes things ahead of time a freezes).  We made it thursday and I'm in LOVE!

We weighed and used just a little over 1/2 cup table salt...

Drank it just as a broth the first time and today made this soup for my son's Birthday

RECIPE: Richard's Vegetable Birthday Stew

SOURCE: created 1/14/2011

INGREDIENTS:

6 cups water
2 tbsp vegtable boulion (see recipe)
1 box 12 oz sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup lentils

simmer and cook abt 20 min, meanwhile prepare

1 zukinni chopped
2 lrg carrots, slices
2 cups fresh okra, sliced
2 mystery peppers, hot & smaller than jalapenos, take out seeds and chop finely
pepper to taste

add them once lentils are mostly cooked, cook 5 min then ready to serve

Note: Was making pasta salad for the next day and added noodles to soup as we served
Dan & Richard ate theirs with cheese and salsa....
Ahna & I added salsa and baked beans....I miss IMO!!!

Thanks, princessblueberry. I hate my mum cooking with stock cubes, and I think I just convinced her this is a good idea. Yay!

Yay, I'm so excited! I'm still working on your package. I have all of the supplies I need, but I've been pretty busy and haven't had much time to craft. I'm probably about half way done with everything.. Just need to get my butt in gear! Ha. I will definitely be on time though.

So I'm pretty behind in this swap now, after being gone from my house for a couple days I returned to find that someone threw out the crafts I was in the middle of doing for this swap. I now will be rushing to catch up again, but will most likely be able to send out in time :3
