My son requested a Dr. Blowhole (From Penguins of Madagascar) Pillow Pet and being the good Mom that I am, I made him one:

Here's what Dr. Blowhole looks like:

The tutorial is on my blog here:  http://allthingsshea.blogspot.com/2010/11/how-to-create-dr-blowhole.html

Basically, I used one stuffed dolphin (cut in two pieces), one pillow and one gray chenille throw blanket cut to pillow size.  I destuffed the pillow then sandwiched the pillow and chenille piece along with velcro tags to close it up and sewed them together.  I sewed the tail into the bottom part, then restuffed the pillow.  Then I added the head into the top and sewed it closed.    The tute is much clearer and has more pics, but that's it in a nutshell.

You're welcome!   My son loves his and won't sleep with his regular pillow now.   I think I've created a monster.   Good luck with yours.  Cheesy
