Hello Cross Stitchers,
Made a whole mess of tree motif cross stitch ornaments with 2 pieces of aida cloth.  The reverse side is stitched with the year and receiver's name.
Using a running stitch and embroidery floss, the two pieces of fabric were sewn together.  Fiberfill was pushed into the "pillow" before the running stitch was knotted.
Take a look at the different edge treatments: fringed, pinked and blanket stitched.
They were super easy, super economical and super fast.  (Just like ______.) Wink

I love these, they have some kinda "olden days" feel to them.  Great work!

They're very cute. I especially like the frayed edges and the sand-colored background. Smiley

Thanks, Craftsters!
They were fun to make.
I tied on a loop of floss for hanging on the tree.

Adorable!
Love the different designs of the little trees, and the idea of stitching the receivers' names on the back!
How I wish there was my name stitched on one of 'em... Grin
