Three Peas in a Pod Ornament

Here's the result of my need for something cute to look at while studying for finals. I made the base of the ornament from strips of paper glued together and then wrapped it with embroidery thread.  I love it.  What do you think?

I think it's pretty nifty, although I probably wouldn't associate it with peas (unless you told me, which you did).
