Well, instead of trying to cram a ton of projects into a few days I'm just going to relax and try again next year. I'm going to start working on a new list!  Wink

good idea, QNM!  I think we all need a mini break to just chill out...I will probably not finish my Dr. Who scarf so it will move to 2012...

I also love the clothing recons...I need to add a few to my list...

Love the map quilt!

The gnomes are just the cutest things...they could be used in a lot of ways!  I have not even opened my package of polymer clay, but I am going to give it a try next year(wow--next week!)...

good to see some new people wanting to join in the craziness next year!!

I purchased tons of fabrics and yarns, paper, beads, tools, books and other little things for prizes...I am also going to snag some Craftster t-shirts...I will be super busy for tax season so I need to plan ahead!

This craftalong is almost a second job... Cheesy

Yay rlynn you inspired me to take some scissors to my wardrobe  Cheesy Admittedly these are very simple baby steps to modifying my clothes but I'm a newbie so I'm happy.

This was a simple long-sleeve shirt that I turned into a cardigan by cutting up the middle of the front of the shirt and sewing the two edges under. Then I hand stitched a button and hole and embroidered a bit for embellishment.

And this was a long-sleeved hoodie that I cut the sleeves off of. They were always too snug so they had to go. I thought of maybe adding sleeves but I really like it as a vest/hoodie sort of thing. Now to turn the sleeves into some arm warmers or something haha.

And that makes 100 finished items for 2011!! Grin Grin

Cheesy  They look great!  Love the touch of embroidery around the button closure.

I did have to take in my orange skirt...I wore it yesterday and it got way too stretched out by the end of the day.  I took it in a couple of inches and its perfect now.  Looks exactly the same just holds on better.  I made 3 clothing items last night.  These are not recons...but they are from stash.  WIN!  Cheesy

First a simple skirt for myself.  I think I've gotten over my fear of knit fabrics.  This can also be worn as a dress but its really short so its unlikely I would ever wear it that way...oh and that would be Aria sticking fake flowers under the edge of my skirt.  Heh.

Then a tunic and pants for Aria.  The tunic was made based on this tutorial http://shwinandshwin.blogspot.com/2011/04/she-will-be-painting-roses-red-part-two.html...the pants from this pattern http://www.etsy.com/listing/83706356/mattie-mae-big-pocket-girls-ankle-pants.

They were not meant to be worn together but Aria decided she'd like to wear them both today.  She has requested more pants and tunics.  I suppose that means she likes them.  I'll take it as a compliment; she is very picky about the comfort of her clothing.  She refuses to wear jeans and any pants that are too constricting.  She is caught here mid song.  Wink

Aria's clothing has its own thread here...stop by if you want to see more pictures.

I'm up to 76 now.  Tonight I WILL finish my two remaining Christmas gifts. If there is time, I might make Aria another pair of pants.
Cheesy
