This week I made a cover for one of my dogs chairs. Yes she's spoiled, it's a cheap chair from ikea that she took over. The problem was it was all white and well white doesn't last in my house nor does it flow very well in the livingroom. So in an attempt to make it blend better in our living room I pieced together a cover from left over fabric from living room projects (curtains, dog bed, patch work on a chair and ottoman said dog ripped a hole in). Oh and the stuff on the cushion is cat hair, she also likes the new cover.

It goes nicely with your red walls!  The things we do for our pets...white would never survive my house either...your pets re living royally!

I've been busy too!

An xmas present for my niece:


A bunny blanket to donate to the special care nursery at the local hospital. I'm sad the blanket part turned out so small - it's more hanky sized


and finally a tiny bunny for Master Three, because he wanted the blanket one. I told it was for sick children in the hospital, so he asked me to make him a yellow one. He picked the pattern off Ravelry - he would only choose a pattern with a yellow rabbit in the picture because he didn't understand that I could use the patterns for the white ones with yellow yarn and still make a yellow bunny lol.

What a good use of t-shirts!  Sadly, I have been cutting mine to use for rags for painting and cleaning..I will have to save a few good ones to make a scarf like the green one...I love the loopy look when worn...very fun!

OPINIONS:

Hey guys...I am starting to think of this craftalong for next year...

I think one of the problems I encountered was that I did not realize how big it would be and it takes me forever to tally projects for prizes, etc.

What do you think of this:

TWO different Threads:  one for the lists and one for the gallery and comments?

On page one of the lists thread, I will post the current challenge and prizes so you can find it quickly...

Each person will claim a post and use that post to update their list, put in thumbnails if they want, etc.

The gallery will be for finished projects...they can be numbered or not...

Any other ideas to make it easier and interesting for you guys?

I will work on it in the mod private area and then see what you guys think...nothing is set in stone, so please let me know if you have other things to suggest!
