i used the pattern from this site as the basic guideline but I changed the earflaps and the top "ears" a bit.

Congrats rlynn on the random post win! I love your dino and I think you did a great job on the whale.

Today I made a Halloween dress. Totally inspired by a fellow craftster who made a similar one last year but I can't find her post now. Anyways pretty simple bought the giant T last year after Halloween when it was on clearance, sized it down and moved the sleeves to straps.

I finished the Halloween costumes for my nieces - they needed them for a party tonight, but niece number two was sick and out of sorts so just wore an old dress, didn't want to wear Thomas, but I'm sure by Halloween she'll be wearing it.  Unfortunately the 3D train is waaaaay to big - it fits my S-I-L.

Okay, this last week has been crazy and I have been unable to keep up with this craftalong! So  many pages! So many amazing items!

SilverMoon - you probably don't have fresh strawberries left, but in case you do, the strawberry fudge recipes that I have seen are here and here. I have not tried either of them, so I don't actually know how they would turn out.

Stuffed pumpkin!!  ... I love strawberries, but I really really love pumpkin!!!
I know, right?! I thought it sounded fantastic (sorry Silvermoon, I know you don't agree...   Wink)

astormorray - love the tm bag! One day, I WILL make one of those! (and then probably be too afraid of damaging it to actually use it...)

lady4feet - absolutely love the sweater boots! My daughter has been wanting a pair of those SO bad.

MissKerouac - eek! adorable owl hat

rlynn - as always, fantastic stuff - love the stuffies.

rantyhippie - The mario 1-up mushrooms are great. My nephew would absolutely love them!

lady4feet - the Halloween dress is so fun! I love how the straps turned out.

If I missed anything, it isn't because it wasn't fantastic, it is because everyone here is so prolific and I get overwhelmed when I fall behind!

The though of strawberry fudge lead me to comb the internet with a fine-tooth Google, and I did come across those two recipes, but the need for a candy thermometer scares me. I have run out of strawberries (2 dozen muffins and a few fresh fruit sore tummies later ha!) but I have condensed milk on hand in case I get more. I'd really like more. Sucker for punishment me. (plus the muffins are all gone, and I was suprised by just how fantastic strawberry pieces are in orange muffins with a hint of dutch cinnamon, and also in apple/mango muffins too.)

mmm those muffins sound delicious!

I have always loved that t-shirt...and the cute dress is much better than the big t-shirt for women!  I like the straps!

I had to make an emergency baby gift for my sister to give so I made a sock monkey hat and diaper cover. I bought the pattern on etsy because I needed it quickly...it only took one skein of Vanna White yarn and some scraps of yarn, so it was also cheap! Cheesy
