Some stuff--finishing wips and busy work since I am bored! Cheesy

Knitted scarf for the manager of my favorite Chinese restaurant:

Knitted scarf for the cashier at Atlanta Bread Company--acts of kindness:

Tattered rose headband made from an old scarf:

Embroidered headband made from the same old scarf:

Trivet for under my glass casserole dish--I always had to use two and then I thought--duh, why not make a big one! Cheesy

So I am up to 98 projects now...just saying... Cheesy

I made about 70 mini fish soaps the past few days - twelve at a time.  next is bath melts Smiley  Tomorrow and Thursday the plan is to get my craft room completely cleaned and organized.  We're going camping and I hate to leave the room in a mess, coming back to a mess is so depressing.  While away I think I will work on my nieces birth info cross stitch.

Ouch.

Pics to come when I get home from buying Bepanthan. All my kids are past the nappy rash stage. But I'm not paying $10 for a bitty tin of "Ink Fix"

There we go. Please ignore the flash glare, and my strangely scratched back. Looks like someones been writing on me in my sleep almost. Huh At any rate, I hope that is the most painful project I do this year  Grin

Love the tat! I've got one in almost the same place. And yeah, it hurt.

Nice tattoo silvermoon. Does it have a meaning, or just that you love the design? I really want another one, something that shows my love of crafting, but covertly (I've been nosyin at pics on here for inspiration)
Be careful, they're addictive! I got two at once and still went back for a third!
Top tip- rub haemorrhoid cream into it (really!) cos it's designed to take down swelling and stop itching (without getting too graphic!) it's ideal for tattoos.

Rats! I was going through my whimsy stash to a fun little project for myself and discovered over the past few months that my whimsy stash is seriously depleted through crafting and destashing. This is a serious problem people lol. I didn't realize I let my reserves get so low!

It's the symbol for my name - a dragon with a moon.

I'm using Bepanthan antiseptic on it, because that's what the tattooist recommended. And my body didn't react to well to getting the tatt, so I'm not in a hurry to get another. You'd think that after three childbirths with no pain relief at all (besides a bath) I could handle myself. And I could really - it was the pain that got me. But halfway through I started feeling queasy and woozy and she had to stop before I passed out.  Roll Eyes Big tough me huh?
