I can do that... I think.

I think next year I'll have two lists. One a list of things I think I want to do. The other a list of what I actually do.

I like this idea.  I may do this instead....  make a list of things I think I want to make and a list of things that actually get done.  Smiley

I just add the things I've done to my "to do" list in a different colour. Then it looks like I've been productive, and it's all in one place. And when I add or mark off a finished projects, all my undone things are staring me in the face. Granted, my list is up to 77 odd projects now, but that's beside the point.

And I just finished something really cool, and something cool last night, and I can't share any of it yet! Come tomorrow night I'm going to be posting up a storm!

My list is set up like that!  I made a huge ass list and as I got things done, I started numbering them...if they weren't on my list, I just added them into the numbered list...next year, I will take the unnumbered list and start there...I edit and cross stuff off that I know I will never do...or that I lose interest in...I add thumbnail pics to the numbered list and at the end of the year, print it out and put it in a notebook...on my coffee table...Cheesy

My list is the same way Smiley I originally had everything numbered up to 50 but I realized it was easier to make a big list(more than 50) and pick and choose. That way I feel more flexible. Though I organize them in categories like Knitting, Crocheting, Sewing...ect so I can see them easier. But everything doesn't get numbered until completed.

Well I have finished a quilt (lap size, but it's done!) and a whole pile of mending. And I found something else, something very intriguing to add. Its a writing project. Which is not precisely a crafty, but i think I want to participate in the NAtional Novel Writing Month (http://www.nanowrimo.org/) HUGE project. I just needed to share with someone Cheesy And you guys are the most supportive people I know! he he

I have several more projects to add to my list.....baby showers for both sisters, one of whom is having twins...decor and baby quilts, here I come!!

I have an embroidery machine! If you want to do personal swaps for machine embroidered items, (or are in my swaps!) let me know!

redstar; writing is definitly a craft! I also participate in NaNoWriMo. 2009 was my first year and I won! Last year I did one day and then was distracted by something and didn't get farther than that. I had also tried to do a more realistic story instead of my usual fantasy so I hit a major block with it. This year, I will know better.

I am hoping to do some resin stuff this weekend but I still need to pick up a few things. I have always wanted to try it and am now finally getting to it. I need to go back to my list and go through it because I know I have not updated recently.  Roll Eyes

I second Always on the writing!!

Some more amazing stuff on here - just too many to mention!!!

Two more things completed off the list (although I'm sure it's more than that - why can't I remember?!?)

Finally finished the ridiculous blankie (it's even too stupidly large to get a good picture!):

I NEVER want to see another granny square again - well for a bit!!

And my first attempt at an altered altoid tin (wow - that's quite hard to say actually!):

I have a long way to go before I reach the skills of some on here!

And I've started another:
28) Make something quilted. I have started this - I've cut out some squares for a small memory quilt/cushion - I'm a bit scared of cocking it up to be honest!

I also have two socks done - no not a pair! I got bored after I had to frog my first knitted one, so at the moment I have one knitted and one crocheted sock!!

Will also be throwing out another pair of fingerless gloves for a pressie this weekend, and I re-stocked my wool stash last week - wahay!!!!

The yarn shop by me was having a ridiculous sale, and was also giving things away!! So I went! (of course!) and I spent! I got a mountain of stuff for not a lot of money, so I will also be spending happy hours working out what I can make with stuff! (I have a pic of wool mountain if anyone is interested?)

Although - I have to say, I thought Crafters were a nice bunch - hell, these women were vicious!! I prob could have got more free stuff if I could cope with the filthy looks and the elbows, but that's just not for me!

Has any one else ever seen wool rage? It's certainly a new one on me!

Does anyone know if we have an Aug challenge yet - have I missed it?!
