redstar; writing is definitly a craft! I also participate in NaNoWriMo. 2009 was my first year and I won! Last year I did one day and then was distracted by something and didn't get farther than that. I had also tried to do a more realistic story instead of my usual fantasy so I hit a major block with it. This year, I will know better.

I am hoping to do some resin stuff this weekend but I still need to pick up a few things. I have always wanted to try it and am now finally getting to it. I need to go back to my list and go through it because I know I have not updated recently.

And I've started another:
28) Make something quilted. I have started this - I've cut out some squares for a small memory quilt/cushion - I'm a bit scared of cocking it up to be honest!

I also have two socks done - no not a pair! I got bored after I had to frog my first knitted one, so at the moment I have one knitted and one crocheted sock!!

Will also be throwing out another pair of fingerless gloves for a pressie this weekend, and I re-stocked my wool stash last week - wahay!!!!

The yarn shop by me was having a ridiculous sale, and was also giving things away!! So I went! (of course!) and I spent! I got a mountain of stuff for not a lot of money, so I will also be spending happy hours working out what I can make with stuff! (I have a pic of wool mountain if anyone is interested?)

Although - I have to say, I thought Crafters were a nice bunch - hell, these women were vicious!! I prob could have got more free stuff if I could cope with the filthy looks and the elbows, but that's just not for me!

Has any one else ever seen wool rage? It's certainly a new one on me!

Does anyone know if we have an Aug challenge yet - have I missed it?!

Amazing blanket!

Can I count this as finished even though the clasp system doesn't work and I can't figure out how to polish the copper beads without harming the green ones?

I need that blanket!!!  Soooo need that blanket!   And awesome job on the altered altoid tin!  I need to attempt making a few more of those.  I've made one and I'd like to make some more.

I like that beaded bracelet.  I'm hoping that I'm not crazy...  I don't see a design in the copper beads.  Either way, design or not, its pretty!  

I started re-organizing my list with the idea of adding all the swap things I've done in 2011....  I'd be way far over 50 I think.  Because my first swap is 2011 was the IYP 17 swap and I had two partners for that!  I don't think I'll add everything from all my swaps...  but I'll add them from here on to the end of the year.  So....  stats thus far...  20 finished!    13 started.    39 on my list not started.....    But like we all keep saying...  the list is allowed to change and grow and expand.    This is my changing, growing and expanding!

I've been thinking about this...  hopefully I won't get in too much trouble for posting my list twice.  I've reorganized it, added to it and what-not.

1. Sweater for significant other from the book he bought me.
2. Organize all my yarn!  Boxes instead of bags!               
3. Use up a chunk of my stash! I don’t think I’m going to buy craft supplies unless they’re for a specific project that I’m actively working on.
4. Finish the Hexagon afghan!  I have a shawl sized chunk done because I thought it might be a shawl but I decided it really wants to be an afghan.
5. PIF 2011 project for Mona -personalized Doodle Hoop!
6. Experiment with different risotto recipes!  This one is kind of on-going!
7. Green knit bolero jacket to match new sleeveless dress!
8. Gored skirt in a print, brown, rust and gold.
9. Holiday Stockings for myself and Zach.

Definitely

My emphasis in college was playwriting (Dramatic Arts BA) so I am more comfortable writing scripts, but I thought this would be a good challenge! (Though there is a scriptfrenzy that goes on in April which I may need to try out next year )
