The Ann Arbor Art Fairs are not to be missed if you are going to be anywhere in the neighborhood.  I used to work a block away from the center.  It is amazing.  We would start on Main street with the crafty folks work our way to State Street where the juries start to get strict and then get to South U where the 6 figure art resides.  Incredible!  It looks like they've added even more since then.

that1girl - I love the poptart wallet! But I would have to add a cat head and rainbows - memetastic! Wink

I'm focusing on finishing swap projects for the next week or so, as well as my Tetrisghan, but I might try and get to something for the challenge in the last two weeks of July. I'm hoping to get my Tetrisghan done by the 15th, because that's exactly a year from when I started it.

Here's my July list.... (it's super ambitious)

23. Outdoor Pallet Furniture
24. Pull up carpet and paint Dining Room
25. Make TShirt Yarn for a Rag Rug
26. Paint Dining Room Rug in chevron pattern
27. Homemade Laundry Detergent (test run for Christmas presents so that counts. Smiley)
28. Paint coffee table

*cross my fingers that this gets done with the help of my partner's mother who is a workaholic and is dying for things to do around the new house. Smiley

Ok, I admit.  We actually got #23 done right before THE FOURTH OF JULY!!! Which is totally a holiday... so it counts.

HOW FREAKING AWESOME IS THAT?  srsly.  so awesome.  It turned out so well.  The colorful one is the coffee table, it's on lockable wheels.  And the top is a pallet with hardboard screwed to the top and fabric and vinyl wrapped around for easy cleaning. Smiley

lafemmefatale - I love that outdoor furniture! Like student furniture made out of milk crates, but classier and more grown up. (I'll admit it, I still want to make milk crate footstools, but my DP would never go for it)
