welcome aboard Windgie Smiley
You have a great selection of projects. From the stuff you completed it looks like you tried a lot of new things this year, which is awesome.

sheepBlue - the lego work is great! I hope that your brother and sister-in-law loved it (and that you had a wonderful day at their wedding!)

windgie79 - welcome! Your list is great. I think I may have to blame you for adding some more ideas to my list Wink

Ahhh the best news! The best man speech went awesomely and was capped off by a very appropriate and hoped for laugh from the audience when my bf pulled out the giant lego. It was completely well received - I'm happy  Grin

They haven't opened the picture yet though - I'll be waiting to hear about that.

Those lego things are awesome!  And I love the mermaid poppet.

And at last I've got an update.  Here are some of the bits I've been doing:

a crocheted sweater.  The cold weather was gone by the time I finished it, so I guess I'll have to wait till october to wear it.

a pair of slippers made with odds and ends.  They are very comfy... but far too big!

another monthly square for the blanket I am making.  I still haven't started May... (sigh)

Meet Rosie.  Isn't she cute?

And this is my first prototype of a universal timetable.  I'm trying to use my time better and I never know what to do when, so a timetable was in order, but I keep having to change everything...  I wanted to make it so the little cards could stand there if the board was vertical too.  I haven't managed yet.  In the mini folder on top there are extra cards.

The cards are loose so that you can organise your week however you want and change it whenever you need.  This can also be used to organise different people's timetables when you don't quite see how to do it, then write it down on paper and the board's free for a new timetable.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

meleriffic, the poppet is beautiful! I am in awe of the skill it takes to make one!

soorawn, Rosie is adorable! Is that a button for the nose? It's so perfect! And I'm very jealous of the crocheted sweater. Smiley
