Congrats skittlebub!!  You made your 50!  and what nice things!  The t-shirts are cool and I love the fabric for the tea wallets! Love the idea of a memory square...such a sad thing to lose a baby...what a lovely idea to remember with a quilt square!

Bowzers - there's some amazing things going on here!!

That memory quilt is such a lovely idea - I think you may have given me an extra special project to add to my list, Skittlebub, do you mind if I borrow?

Well, I have no pics at the mo - my lappatoppa is poorly, so I've snuck on at work to catch up and update (what can I say, it's an addiction, lol!)

Sooo, complete:
30) Lozzie ozzie stamp - as complete as it can be, I've learnt my craftiness does not stretch to stamp making - I've made the star shape of my logo, think I may pay for one to be made from Etsy :/

40 - Starghan complete - just needs washing and loading full of fabric softener

41) Clear, remodel and prettify front garden. It was a total jungle when we moved in, no flower beds, or anything resembling nice, so we have completely gutted it, now just waiting for the flowers to grow!

42) Strip, prep, sand and paint the entire house (BOOOOOOORING!!) I'm only counting this as the one project, as it was very boring plain colours, but the craft room/studio/bedroom will be a project all on it's very own - as it's looking super cool, nearly there!!!

43) Run a crochet class - not on my original list, but it was Adult Learners week, and work decided to do something, so I got roped in. We only made little simple flowers, but I figure the stress, nerves and panic allow me to count it as a project, lol!
Plus - sharing the crochet bug - gotta be a good thing, hey??

Will post pics when I can use my lovely 'pooter.

I'm up to 15/50 now, and my craft room is nearly done now, so should be able to up the ante, as I've NEVER had a space like this before!!  Woohoo!!

Better get back to work, *sigh*

cya soon guys!

I redesigned my apron top pattern during the making of, and I'm SO happy with how it came out and it's now my new pattern that will be used for all others to come, modified for various sizes of course.  There's boob space in it!!  LOL!

Here's my apron top for this year for me:

These are also the most current shots of me, 24lb down!!  YAY!

Wow, skittlebub, that's a lot of projects down!  The owl hat is cute; it's too bad the sizing is messed up. Sad

TSM, great destashing - on the top and on you. Smiley

Three more projects finished, up to about 18 projects finished.

Duckies in the Round, a filet doily pattern I found in Crochet World Magazine, Spring 2011 edition. I promise, this had been finished and blocked.

Climbing Blossom from a skein of Misty Alpaca yarn. If you want something scrumptious, squishy and wonderful to touch, use this yarn. Seriously.

And my third pair of socks this year. I am feeling really good about this as I had not planned on having them done until the end of June. The colors are much more pink than the reddish I am seeing here.

Everyone's doing such awesome stuff right now!  Amazing!  And yeah - why would anyone in their right mind cover up those wonderful hardwood floors??  I wish we had those.  But we've had the carpet replaced so we know there's nothing useful underneath.

WildBird - I haven't been really paying attention for a while so I hadn't seen you post before.  I was looking at your avatar thinking "oh that's such a cute groundhog puppet!" (thinking the nose holes were eyes and it looks kind of like a puppet)  Then as my face is getting closer to the computer screen to make sure that's what I'm seeing I realized "HOLY CRAP THAT'S AN OSTRICH!"  LOL  Its like those pictures of the two faces/cup or the maiden/crone.  I just thought it was funny.

I looked at my list and realized that I'm further along!!  Cheesy  I did start my etsy store I just don't have anything listed in it.  :p  I'm almost done with the purple skirt for one of my students.  I'll post pictures of that after she gets it.  I'm also working on my patchwork skirt!  5 tiers are put together!!!  I have to buy orange thread so I can put the orange squares together.  So I'm getting there!  I WILL make 50 this year!! Cheesy

That scarf is yummy looking!  I still think sock makers are magical beings...I love those!

And, what interesting thread for your doily!  I have one made by my great grandmother in the same colors...is the thread still around? Cheesy

I think I better not mention that I put carpet on my hardwood floors... Cheesy...I actually hated them...loud, hard, cold and easily damaged by my dog...they will be nice for any new owners...Wink
