I have a pattern to make a quilted casserole carrier...pattern is probably almost as old as I am...came from my mom or a craigslist donation??  Can't remember which.  I have yet to attend a potluck, I'm usually the one holding them...that's how I did Thanksgiving the last 2 years.  We did the bird and the potatoes/gravy, everyone else brought a side or desert or all the sodas/case of beer/bottle of wine.  Works out well for everyone to showcase their best, and for us not to be so stressed out by having everyone over AND doing the entire meal.

My eyes are SO itchy with allergies, and my head is full of craft ideas...both things will keep me from sleeping tonight I think Tongue

Just for the record, Casserole covers also work GREAT for pies!  They're such nifty things.

I'm so Southern I'm in a whole different hemisphere! Tongue

Potlucks aren't that big in Australia. At least, if they are, they aren't in my circles. Although, when we have a party, it is BYOB (bring your own booze) does that count?
I think if I made a quilted sixpack cover I'd get laughed out of the backyard though...

LOL @ Silvermoon. You could make a stubby cooler though or something decorative for the Esky.

I'm still unpacking from the move & can't find the good camera, so I'll post pics of what I've done when I find which box it's in.

Got two claims for the new Ongoing Hoopla Swap sent and received so I can post now  Smiley

43. OHS claim 1 - doodle stitching Fin 5/5
44. OHS claim 2 - steampunk bird Fin 5/5

I also accomplished my goal of making a minimum of 20 TM panels to stock up for my future etsy. Not really sure if I should bother with a picture though since they're not assembled?

Those hooplas are great! The doodle is very pretty, and the clockwork bird is super cool.

Maybe it's just my life-long Bubo-love, but Holy Moley, that mechanical bird is fantastic!

bananaleg received the dress I made her for a recent personal swap Smiley  Here's another one off my 50 list!

This back style is more conducive to mailing away, as it's fully adjustable because it ties in the middle Smiley  I'm totally jealous of this dress, it was made from a vintage sheet...the ONLY one I have, so now I only have a few larger pieces and some scraps.  Patchwork it is then!

Is this for a child or an adult?  It's sooo freakin cute!  It's made out of a vintage sheet? Very cute
