Not glitter!!!! Unless it's glitter glue then that's ok. I hate glitter as much as I hate sand.
I alway forget that Crafter is a day behind us, it was April 1st yesterday here.

As far as crafting goes, I am nearly finished my first swap package. Tried 2 brand new techniques for them as well. I think I need to make a crochet hook roll or case for my self for the April challenge.
And just waiting on some material to dry so I can make a nappy bag & change mat for my sisters friend

evilsabina--what a great idea to use something recycled!  I am sure jeans and t-shirts make the perfect hot air balloon and also parachutes!

We won't need parachutes. I forgot to put it on my list, but I'm going to make capes. I'm working on my son's cape today. I hope to finish it tomorrow. (Really)

And by the way, that apron rocks!

I just realized I can post something here after what feels like an overly long hiatus  Smiley

31. altered tin for circus swap Fin 4/1

My partner in the Wicked Circus swap received her tin  Smiley I'm pretty happy how it turned out - it was technically my first time altering a altoid tin. My worst trait is wanting to cram too much in.

The feel for this tin was supposed to be dirty/rusty/grungy. I am now in love with this granular gel medium I used to get the texture!

Here's the inside and some close up shots

I have two more things I am currently planning to make other people but I'm determined to find some time this month to make something for myself! I have a week and a half off from work and school (I'm not quite sure how I managed to accomplish this but I'm stoked) and I'm going to be crafting like crazy then.

I love the tin sheepBlue! I was sad when I discovered that swap AFTER it was closed.  Tongue

So, our old iron was a real pile, it scorched everything it touched. I bought a new one a few days ago and decided to test run it on a simple, cute project for myself. A cute little baby fox iron on....
