Troublet and ffrog, I bet you both make awesome TOC plans, wish I could come teach in your classes while you get better.  In our district teachers are supposed to have a plan for the next day in case they are sick, but then the TOC is supposed to look back at previous days and plan for the following day, while the full time teacher is sick, they should not be worrying about their class, they should be getting well.  but I know TOC lists are different everywhere, here you must be a fully qualified teacher to be on the on call list.

I have to ask....  what's a TOC?  I'm guessing it has something to do with being a subsitute teacher but we call it STEMS Substitute Teacher Employment Management System.

I have no idea if I am right but I couldn't help but try and figure it out -- is TOC a Teacher on Call?

yes, a TOC i a teacher on call, they got rid of the term sub here because it had so many negatives surrounding it - that they were just a subsitute for the "real" teacher, when really 75% of the list is just waiting for those "real" teachers to retire so we can have some full time jobs in the system.  so they now use the term TTOC to refer to teachers teaching on call.  hope that clarifies it all:)

Looking for Sophia the first fabric and Frozen fabric (preferably flannel, but would settle for cotton) and Phoomph.  I'm in Canada and the companies are that I could order from charge $20-$30 shipping, so if anybody can find some and wants to swap/sell, I would be eternally greatfull.

Sad  I know, I know...I have had to catch myself many times--we are a chatty bunch here... Smiley

I dunno, a hundred pages a month doesn't seem toooooo chatty, does it?

Obligatory craft statement.  I need to make or buy aprons to hold the piece parts of minute to win it games and prize tickets for strolling game leaders.  I am thinking about something like carpenter's aprons.  Does anyone have a link, pattern or better idea?

waggonswest -  if you were doing a carpenter style, couldn't you just cut a rectangle the size you wanted it and then make the pockets what ever size you need to hold supplies?

I could, I was just hoping for a plan that makes the raw edges less problematic without resorting to a serger.

if you made the rectangle twice as big, folded it in half, make your two side seams (folded edge would be bottom) and then hem two top edges, flip right side out and sew vertical lines for the pockets?   you could then attach ties
