7. Cookies for Library Open House



Of course I forgot to take a picture until it was 2 a.m. and the cookies were already packed and ready to go but here's a crappy photo anyway.  Four dozen each of triple chocolate, peanut blossom, cherry and heart-shaped sugar cookies for the local library.  Hope there's lots of hungry readers today.

Troublet - I'll get my taco melt blog entry updated in the next day or so.  I know I'm behind but I have to get moving again on my next design and I'm going to enter my first ever Craftster challenge and need to get started on that.

I'm just curious what's the largest number of floss strands you embroiderers have used at once in a project? I just worked with 12 in one go and man a pain in the butt it was....honestly I was trying to make the process go faster but it was probably a wash in the end.

Just got done an afghan for hubby. It was done in single crochet, with a Q sized hooked and (mostly) two strands of Lion Homespun yarn held together.  I haven't bothered to measure it, as it's "big enough". 

Will post pics when my computer starts behaving and my fingers uncramp.

12?! Wow!    I use 2. I have done 6 years ago when I didn't know you were suppose to separate them.

It is bizarre - and only a portion of it... but you get the idea of what happened. 
I thought I could salvage the part with the eye assembly but even that, 4 minutes in, was pretty much a wash.

Okay... here is the Bulletin Board/White board I recovered with fabric.  Still not on the wall.  I also did the Zombie survival case which has ben deemed the "most epic birthday present ever"  I have also been awarded the coolest stepmom ever award(by a 16 year old)
