Well, at last I can show something.  I have had a horrible January, plus my internet services is hideous, and didn't have pics of what I've been doing up to now.  Here they come:

My second pair of double cuffed socks:

Another pair of slippers - I've already made a huge hole on the soles of the last pair.  I think I'll change my nick to "Shoebane" or something like that.

They fit better than the former pair, but those were prettier I think.

And a pair of fingerless mitts.  I love love love this yarn.  And the pic doesn't do justice to the pattern.

Does it qualify for the February challenge?

oh, those mitts are pretty!

I finished a yarn!  100g, finely spun superwash merino/nylon mix

it doesn't quite look it, but it's mostly pink, with red, orange and purple.  Wink

and it was #1 on my list!

I'll have stuff to post tonight! I got another item knocked off my list <3 I made something for my mom for her b-day (which was thursday). I could not finish it sooner because I needed felt and did not get to the store until Sat. She likes it but I need to find a frame for it.

Loving all the projects being posted as usual!

I just finished a cross stitch pattern that I have been trying to figure out FOREVER. It's my grandmother and grandfather, right after he returned from the war.  I'll be working this up and giving it to my dad for his birthday.  I should have it done by September..... right?  Undecided

It wasn't on my list, but it was in my head and it still counts, in my universe!

Oh... this is the original photo, cropped and adjusted and all that.  It was taken in 1945ish.

@ KittyMom:    yes, it's baby fan pattern, and I got the mitts pattern from a free ravelry download:
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/baby-fan-mitts

The yarn I used is Reflections from Creative yarns (mohair/wool/acrylic).  It's lovely and easy to work with.  And machine washable! Cheesy

I love that extra cuff, Alisha.

@ CXS:  That pattern looks great.  I will be looking forward to the final art piece!
And when you're done, you can try and knit a blanket using the same chart! (I'm a bit very much focused on knitting now, yes).

soorawn - the socks look cosy and the fingerless mitts remind me of a phoenix

Cadaver - that is going to be such a cool cross-stitch when it's done.  You've done some awesome ones, I wish I could make my own patterns.

That fair isle mitten is to dye for!  I would love to do that.  A co-worker is going to try and teach me how to knit, but that seems pretty darn advanced.
