50 projects in 2011-CLOSED

WOW, gone for the weekend again and I had 8 pages to thumb thru...   Crimeny!  I'm sad and glad at the same time that the faire is over, sad because it's SO fun, and glad because I get my 'real life' back so I can get back to all the projects I need to work on.

Speaking of which, I hope to crank out a few things this week on my days off now that I'm not doing faire stuff for another 9 months or so.

WOW!  I stayed away all weekend to work on projects and then had to spend 15 minutes reading all the pages I missed!  I spent a lot of time writing down more projects I want to do!

KLKing--love the scarf set--such beautiful cabling!

rackycoo--love your dog's plaque--must be one special baby!

Also, kudos for the cute dragon, the lovely pillowcase, and the sock monkey! The cupcakes look so yummy, especially since I am off sweets for a while (I can drool anyway!)...

I know there are a lot more projects out there that need pics!

And, to all of the new people, welcome!  I believe we are up to 109 now but I need to review my list because....well, we are going to have a February challenge with a prize!!!

Yay for us!  Boosting the amount of craftiness in the world!

Had a busy, snow weekend, mostly spent putttering around.  Did some baking (including some great chocolate chip cookies -- we must all be thinking alike) took advantage of the little fresh fruit availabe in the dead of winter and made pear butter and clementine jelly (to be posted later) and did some knitting.

But all I have completed is this cowl from last week, that goes with the green fingerless gloves.

So close to finishing like 4 projects, and yet I know they won't be done anytime soon. =(
Here are pictures of the etched glasses and infinity scarf I made last week. Horrible pictures. But I gave both items away so I'm stuck with these.

Infinity Scarf: no pattern, and hand sewn together. 9"x36" size 13 needles.

By the way, I just bought a circular needle, any tips??

I love the three buttons on the cowl...I can never quite figure out where to place buttons on those things!

Every time I see such pretty glass etching, I want to try it...you letter turned out beautifully!

One tip on using circular needles:  I gently blow mine with a blow dryer and then use my hands to unkink them...if you try to use them out of your storage holder, they will twist and you will hate using them...
