The Jo-Ann's near me has a class you can take with the sock loom, I think it's included with the class fee.

We are getting a Joanns in a few months - sadly it's a small one.  It would be super if they had a class on the loom.  I've always been curious about those looms.  I picked up two at a second hand store awhile back - with the intent of sending them in a swap box but then I stopped swapping as much and they ended up in one of my yard sale boxes... I have to say that I'd take the sock loom class just to learn to make yoga socks.  I want a pair or two so badly!

I crocheted yoga socks--they were super easy!  They were suppose to be handwarmers... Cheesy

I finally can post a few things I made lately...one because I goofed on a swap item and now I'm not going to send it  Tongue Anyway, I tried making felted balls off my to do list and here's the product! Like I said, I have hairy balls (that was for you TSM LOL), but they're neat to try. I'm uber excited because the fiber class I'm in right now will be covering wet felting later in the quarter and I'm raring to go!

The failed swap item is this felt art I made....I was planning to make it into a hanging bag that you could tuck some potpourri into, messed up on cutting out the bag, rebrainstormed and decided to frame it, and then the backing of the frame is just not that great so I'm not sending...oh well. It's destined for my STS shop, hopefully it'll get some love there.

There's going to be a giant crash of the server when I can post all the swap stuff I've done and am planning to do lol.

Welcome, Monica!!!!  Smiley

Not exactly... Cheesy  Anytime you want to link to an exact message, you must see MSG in the link...always click on the blue words at the top of your post--it will put the exact location in your browser bar...highlight and copy it

The link above will only take you to the top of the page of the first post for that page...you would have to scroll down to look for it...It is a very common mistake that we fix a lot when people post to links Cheesy

I'm making curtains today if all goes well.  Both my daughter and I have the flu but I am losing my mind laying in bed with nothing to do, and have no hand sewing projects ready...so curtains it is.  They aren't on my list that I posted here but they have been on my mental list so it's all cool, lol!  Cheesy

lol sheepblue--love your hairy balls (twss) Cheesy

It takes a lot of hand work (twss) to get them nice and smooth...but, aren't they neat!?

I love your little felt piece...the birch trees are looking at me and the house is smiling...was that on purpose? Cheesy
