Despite a monster headache and the grand-pappy of all panic attacks, I managed to get quite a bit done today! Nothing on my list, mind you, but at least I was productive  

I also learned how to use my new dremel that came today! I freakin love it, by the way. I am going to poke holes in so much crap!

I made a big ol' hair bow (pictured here on our mannequin, Brenda) that is probably way ridiculously big for me, but I love it anyway:



And then I made this here necklace:



I started on another necklace, finished hot-gluing and glittering and fantabula-tizing one of the pendants going on it. And I also finished one of the items for my partner in the 3 Tiny Movie Things swap. Today was such a weird day for me, craft-wise, because I'm almost always embroidering, cross stitching, or knitting, and I didn't do any of those things.

I got a dremel for christmas...anybody have any awesome ideas on what to do with it?

shooker, I've seen dremels used in both wood carving and in metal work to etch in designs. If you google image "dremel art projects", you'll find some cool stuff.

Would love to have a dremel for a soon-to-tackle project for a swap....not sure if its worth buying though =/ Off to go research cost while not being able to sleep due to a lame migraine...at least its calmed down enough that I can be on the computer for a short bit.

Cloth menstrual pads!  Of course, that's what I can do with my stack of flannel scraps!  I've never made them before, does anyone have a pattern/tutorial to recommend?

On another note, I finished my gnome hats today.  They were super simple, just one seam.  But it took a while to get the size right, the first one fit DD's dolly instead of her!  I'll try to take a pic and post it tomorrow.

redflags...love the bow, so cute!  hope you get back to your stitchin' and keep smilin'! What are you knitting??  I'm working on a hat...the pattern I love came from a British knitting mag.  Also, a lacey-leafy afghan for my daughter...it is slow going!

musiclady: if you make more menstrual pads than you can use, there's a charity called Days for Girls that puts together kits for girls so they can go to to school when they have their period, not be confined to their home.  They accept pads and other items: http://www.projectthrive.org/ and click Days for Girls.  I'm adding that to my 50 list!
