50 projects in 2011-CLOSED

I didn't look at this for a day... not even a day because I checked it this morning before I left for work and now its about 5:30 on the east coast and there's been more than 10 pages created!     The projects I've looked at are wonderful!  And I'm sure everyone's project is fantastic! 

I get to start using up part of my stash!  I don't remember what number that was on my list but I get to do it!  I joined the IYP swap and I'm going to use the yarn stash to make a project for it!

So far, I have made only projects that were NOT on my original list...yeah--you guys are not helping...I am going to not look for at least two...hours...

I should not be allowed in the Craft section of Barnes & Noble. It gives me ideas! I found a book on "beadpoint". I didn't buy it but I looked it up when I got home. I think it'll be a fun way to use up some of my seed beads. Now I just have to see if I have any needlepoint canvas kicking around

"beadpoint" sounds interesting!  Yeah - I shouldn't be allowed into the craft section at any given bookstore....  recipe for more projects without finishing the WIPs.    Oh well.  I think if I don't look that up then I won't be able to add it to my list.

I finally finished my totebag.  >.< I'm slow, but I'll get there. This was one of those projects where if it could go wrong, it did, lol. All the way down to sewing the handles on to wrong side (would have been between the outer fabric and lining when I turned it right side out). And I totally forgot to stabalize the embroidery, so it bunched up the fabric like crazy around the design. I'm still getting the hang of embroidering. I don't think my friend will notice too much, though. At least I hope not. It's an Urban Threadz design I've been holding onto for awhile with the intent of making this bag, so here it finally is, at least.

That's awesome!  And I was going to say...you really can't see a whole lot of bunching at all, but either way, I'm sure your friend won't mind, because it's being eclipsed by the awesome!

That tote looks pretty good to me! We're all our own worst critics I think, and I'm sure your friend won't even see the flaws.

I am not even sleepy and it's kinda past my "bedtime". My first day of winter semester starts tomorrow and yeah...well at least it should be an easy day with just intro stuff and syllabyi review to get through. I have been busy making the most of my free time before it gets sucked away from me, but for now its top secret IYP swap stuff so I won't have any pics for a while. I did spend some time on my giant afghan tonight though. I was using up some lionsbrand "homespun" type yarn (I think...) and am struck by how annoying it is to work with. I loved it when I was first learning to crochet which I find odd....maybe I'm starting to become a yarn snob lol.

Oh man... I'm falling in love with all kinds of projects... just added a few to my list... <3 I'm currently working on a comissioned hat (or 3 lol). They weren't on my original list, but I'm counting them anyway! I'm shooting for as many projects as I can this year, and with school, I don't have much room to be picky! ^ ^

But seriously, I just watched the teesha moore style journals and bag tutorial... @.@ Wow. Love.

That tote is adorable Silverwing!  Great job!  I don't see a whole lot of bunching on your embroidery and like Aislynn said -

either way, I'm sure your friend won't mind, because it's being eclipsed by the awesome!
