I'm excited to get to work, as my sister and I decided to do monthly "watch a movie and do some crafting" nights!!  Smiley

That sounds fun. Too bad my sisters live so far away. But I could ask if my friend would do it, or maybe "eat something good and do some crafting".

The dodecahedron was super simple!  After you make the first point and you understand the pattern the thing just flies!  Just make sure you stuff it before you sew up the last point.  Roll Eyes  I tried to stitch up the whole thing without stuffing and sat there feeling REALLY stupid!  OH well.  The persons I made them for loved them.  Good luck!

LaughingLark...I am amazed at your list...not only accomplishing crafts...but learning them, too!!  Whew! Shocked

I am probably biting off more than I can chew, as usual.  Smiley But the last year, and this coming year are good times for me to try new things. I made jewelry for a living for 20 years, and burned out on it badly a couple of years back. It seemed like I was making the same few pieces overandoverandovera ndover. I've slowly been shifting into the fiber arts, as I can afford to. I'm a stay at home mom right now, and while I don't have much money, and my crafting time gets interrupted a lot, I have more time than I will when I find a job or start a  new business later on when my youngest is in school. So now's the time to learn stuff.  Smiley

More list:(moved to earlier post)

I'm pretty sure I won't do these in order, and I'll end up doing lots of things that are completely different. Looking forward to the journey. Cheesy

Oh, yes, good food is always part of it, too!   Grin  Should be good times, our first crafty night is tomorrow!  I just have to pick a project. . . . .

These are not on my list, but they will be: Cheesy

I want to make a pom pom cowl using my knifty knitter.

I am going to cast on the Christmas stripey stockings (thanks musiclady!) - three different ones and at least put them in project bags.

I am going to crochet some baby cowboy boots for a friend.

Before this thread gets too big, I am going to steal ideas off of everyone's list and figure out how to add them to my list! Cheesy

I like how some of you are breaking up your lists by categories!

uh--I think you should count your gloves and legwarmers as separate projects! Holy cow--5 pairs? You expert knitters amaze me!
