Definitely joining this year so I can work on getting some birthday and Christmas items out of the way early. A lot of what I have so far are WIPs but they count because they're not finished, right? Right! haha

On a mini crafting hiatus because of Christmas Crafting Freakout, so I think I'll spend the first few weeks of 2011 getting a list and some supplies together (Thank you Christmas gift cards! Michaels & Joanne's - YAY!).

So far:

2)YoYo Blanket for Kris (half made; End of Sept.)
3)Recipe scrapbook for Mom (gave half-finished for Christmas)
4)Pretty dishwashing gloves
5)Thread catcher bag
6)Bag for felted dryer balls
7)More felted dryer balls
8 )Viking Knit wire hoop earrings for Erin (mid Sept.)
9)Christmas cards (Yeah...didn't finish that this year haha)
10)Birthday cards
11)Anniversary cards
12)Fabric bowl
13)Rag rug
14)Felt bead necklace
15)Sailor's knot rug
16)Potato & onion bags
17)Flower seed paper
18 )Zipper brooches
19)Princess pillow for Savannah
20)Fingerless fleece gloves
21)No sew t-shirt skirt
22)Notepads (magnet and no magnet)
23)Bill folder for door
24)Convertible/Infinity dress
25)Zipper earbuds
26)Crazy quilt pillow (Needs to be sewn and stuffed)
27)rework black/gray dress
28 ) KitKat ornament
29)black seed bead loop earrings
30) something with that blank canvas thats been kicking around
31)cassette change purse
32)paper beads
33)star hook
34)refinish shelf with rung for quilt
35)beadpoint
36)modge podge screenprint
37)earmuff headphones
38 )gift box
39)card organizer
40)bra
41)bra cushions (to deal with evil fitting bras)
42)clay beads (fimo)

So - I only have 15 or so projects on my list currently.....  At least two of them are started alread.  The sketchbook project and the shrug I'm getting paid to crochet for someone else.  Does count as started if you bought the yarn for your significant other's sweater and just haven't put it on the needles yet because you forgot to measure him when he was here in early December?  Wink

Another project on my list is to start my own Etsy store...  I continually give this quite a bit of thought....  and I find that its kind of sad that the biggest thing stopping me - is coming up with a name for my store!   Roll Eyes

So - I hope y'all don't mind but I'm going to ask for your help!  Undecided  I've read all the threads on Craftster about Etsy and I've been through HUNDREDS of Etsy pages already...  I just can't come up with something that sounds good and really fits me.  After typing that, asking for your help doesn't seem very logical does it?  Oh well.  I've thought about calling my store The Usual Twist but my family looked at me like "what in the hell is that?"  I'm going to be knitting and crocheting scarves, shawls, shrugs, and probably bags.  I'll probably also be making shawl pins (beaded and polymer clay).  Does anyone have any advice for me?  I'd really appreciate it!

I like The Usual Twist Ffrogg!

I've been toying around with starting an Etsy. I already know what I want in my shop. I just need to jump into crafting so I can open the shop. Smiley

I made myself a cardigan from my list, just gotta take some pictures Wink Also started making a super last minute (like Christmas Eve last minute) Christmas gift of a monster neck pillow for my kiddo Azzy, but got too tired to finish, so I need to finish that. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day, so who knows if I will be able to squeeze any crafting in:P

That's a great idea!  Also, someone gave me a few 'D' rings, but I didn't know what they were called or what they were used for...now I know!   Cheesy

Just in case you were curious, those aren't actually d-rings. D-rings look like this:

those are actually called carabiners

talking about hardware...I plan on making quite a few purses and aprons this year...I found that D rings and all sorts of other hardware can be found for cheaper at the hardware store!  My local Ace Hardware now stocks all those things for me...I use smaller D rings to make adjustable apron ties...

I also get cogs and weird little things for altered art...

Dang--I finished one thing off my list so I will add it to last year and then add another item to my 2011 list Cheesy
