I went back and deleted my list.
I have this messed-up conscience that if there's a date when something's "due", then I have to do it right NOW. My brain doesn't let me enjoy things, are just my day unless I finish it. This list was sitting on my mind ALL the time, even when I slept. I couldn't enjoy anything! So I went back and I deleted my list. I now feel much better. If the projects get done, They'll be done. If not, then not.

So how does this thread work? Do we post the finished project only here or in the appropriate board with a link here?

If I remember correctly from last year, its really however you want to do it for yourself.  Some people post links to the appropriate area of craftster where they posted their project, some people post their projects twice and some people just post them here I think. Personally, I think it makes more sense to post your project in its appropriate category then post a link to it here.  But like I said, that's just my opinion.

Some post the project in it's own thread, but add a thumbnail and a link on their list, and copy just the part that you did into a new post. For example, say I finish this:

12. a fire person

I would make it's thread. Then on my list I would go:

1. a green blob
2. a green blob
3. a green blob
4. a green blob
5. a green blob
6. a green blob
7. a green blob
8. a green blob
9. a green blob
10. a green blob
11. a green blob
12. a fire person  thread is here
13. a green blob
14. a green blob
15. a green blob
16. a green blob
(etc)

and in a new reply to this thread I would go:

10. a green blob
11. a green blob
12.- a fire person  thread is here
13. a green blob

Hope I helped.

Hello, it's the 26th, so I'll just pretend it's 2011 and check one of the things off my list.

5. Make a holder for my coffee mug so I can attach it to my backpack

This coffee mug allows me to get refills for .99, instead of buying a coffee for nearly $2. Plus, it has the same flowers as my backpack, so how could I resist?  The problem is WAS that after I drank my delicious coffee, I had to carry around an empty mug all day.  No longer!  Now the net carrying bag attaches with the D-ring that came on my backpack.  pretty sweet!

Troublet--in the craftalongs, you can link to the thread if you posted it..like a crochet project...I do not always post my projects separatly in the other boards if it is pretty boring, like a scarf made just like the ones I make over and over Cheesy...I like the idea of posting thumbnails onto my list for myself and regular pics on the board...

I get confused about what projects are new when people post their entire list over and over unless they highlight it somehow, but we are pretty loose in this thread...

I am making a new rule, however:  No whining allowed about what you DO NOT DO... Cheesy...we want to see what is done, accomplished, finished, etc. This board has been great because everyone is inspiring, encouraging, uplifting...I will be deleting any posts that carry a negative tone, ok?

yeah, yeah--we all have our slumpy moods when the crafting mojo leaves us and that is OK...just not post after post of why you are not crafting anything! Get going and just do it! Cheesy

You don't need a list if it is going to work against you!  The goal is just to have something tangible to reach for!  Some people find it a challenge and motivating while others find it deflating and too much pressure!  Whatever works for you!  The idea is to craft a lot and show off your goodies because we all love pics! Cheesy

I wonder how many projects will show up January 1st from everyone who could not wait to get started for 2011? Wink ha ha

oh ghilie--great start!! I love it when a solution to an everyday hassle is solved by being able to craft for yourself!  Nice job matching it to your bag as well!
