batgirl that's how I make mine, too. I just finished a few more for one of my projects because the cat seems to think they're toys. I had originally made 3 then mysteriously I had 1...

That hat is gorgeous!  What sort of yarn did you use?

Kittymom13, that hat is beautiful!

I (sort of) got item #1 done. I wanted to make a hat that fits me on circular needles. I'm a beginner. I did a test gauge swatch, but I still made my hat too big. I turned it into a slouchy hat by crocheting around it until it fit me. I ended up liking it better than a regular hat! It stays over my ears when the -0F wind is blowing! I want to make a couple more of these, but if I set out to make them big on purpose, I'll make something that fits a chihuahua's head, I bet.  Cheesy

The yarn is recycled sweater yarn, Kool aid dyed. It's all wool.  Smiley
I may try to make another this week, while it is so horribly cold here.

Ok finished project #2! First were more felted dryer balls. Now I decided to use up some fleece and make some really quick fingerless gloves for work. This week I'm working on the driveup and the deal drawer is miserably cold even with the heat on. It's going to snow tonight/tomorrow and if I have to work I'd like a little extra insulation so I don't screw up people's deposits by counting their cash wrong. They were really quick and not my best work but they'll do what I want Smiley

Haven't worked on my list much, but did get the base of the cards done for new years, made some baby soap, and am working on a loom knit baby set - hat, socks, mittens, maybe a sweater

Looking for Sophia the first fabric and Frozen fabric (preferably flannel, but would settle for cotton) and Phoomph.  I'm in Canada and the companies are that I could order from charge $20-$30 shipping, so if anybody can find some and wants to swap/sell, I would be eternally greatfull.
