I love that rug!  That was done with t-shirts turned into yarn?  About how many t-shirts did it take?

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

I'm excited that I finished 2 things!!  and actually took pictures (this is the part that makes it look like I don't craft much....no evidence Smiley)

4. Make a junk/art journal for...random cool stuff I find

Made out of random stash paper, postcards, magazine pages, leftover bits of watercolour and handmade paper.  I can use it for the odd cool bits of ephemera I come across and as an art technique book too.

I also added more things to my list:

21. camera bag
22. knit some fun (stripey?) leg warmers
23. knit another Felicity hat for my girl
24. knit a cowl for me
25. knit a hot water bottle cozy for my sister

My sister lives in a chilly century old house and doesn't have a microwave so I knit up a soft cozy for her hot water bottle.  I used this pattern without doing the stripes and added the pocket.

It was made from scrap fabric I cut into strips and put together. I put the scraps in a bag that my sheets came in and filled it until I couldn't anymore.

The journal, waterbottle cover.. Grin  great items...I've got to get my junque journal out this weekend while watching football!!
shan-E-bear...I like that yarn...and on fingerless gloves...that would be a good choice for not too thick and yet warm... Smiley

FinRaziel I am addicted to one hat pattern...I'm making it over and over.  Like the Calorimetry headscarves...til I need a break!! Cheesy

I've gotten a crocheted tree frog from my sister in MI...I've made her a simple little scarf and a flower 'pin' for her
hairhead...she has no hair.  =]  What fun!  I hope to be in the Little Visitor swap soon.

I completed two sets of potholders and have the oven mitts on hot standby!(harhar)  Pics to come of those soon.

FINALLY finished making my list! Now to find time to work on stuff in between baby preparation and swaps Wink

45. FINISH the would-be Christmas gift of a monster neck pillow for Azzy

46. Make some scrubbies from pantyhose

47. Knit some tit bits (I'm wanting to start a local group, but I kinda need to be familiar with the pattern)

48. Knit hubbie some cycling socks

49. Make a granny square something or another

50. Make some slippers and nursing sleep shirts for the hospital

If anyone knows of any good cycling sock knitting patterns, lemme know! My hubbie wants some with reinforced areas to cushion high impact areas like the sole and toes.

Ok, I can officially post the link for the FoCR Swap page:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=368173.msg4341106#msg4341106
And I'm also working on oven mitts, too.
Now to go knit and crochet for a bit!  I need some stitching nirvana...=]
I'm counting each set as one project for the count. 5/50!!

AM - Wow! Look at your knitting skills! I'm TOTALLY impressed.  The hot water cozy is awesome!

Myloveasdeep - I love the scrappy afghan.  It's great you got your husband involved.. if only I could be so lucky. Smiley

Shan-E-bear - Awesome fingerless gloves. They look great on you!

Rantyhippie - LOVE the rag rug! I'd like to make one this year, too, and, in fact was just reading some tutorials on how to make t-shirt yarn.  We'll have to compare rag rug notes. Smiley

BethieB - Did you cut out the pieces yourself for the toy?? I love it.. it's very Waldorf-inspired.

I finished my destroyed cowl!!! (#38 on my list!)  I cast on yesterday and finished it just a little bit ago.. even wore it to the grocery store!

Eh. It's a little difficult to get a good photo of it. I'll block it and try again later. Smiley

I'll admit to having not knitted it quite as long as suggested but I'm petite and I thought if I made it much longer, it would overtake me. Smiley

I'll post more details on the knitting board later but I've got a little squirmy guy in my lap who I think may be hungry.. he's munching on my arm.

wow...this thread moves sooooo fast! Some super speedy crafters out there. What a good idea to make a hot water bottle cover - I might just toddle off and add that to my list  Wink
