On facebook today there was a thing going around that someone will make something handmade for  you, but you promise to make handmade stuff for 5 other people (one extra snuck in on me, I couldn't turn her down)
So now I have more projects, but it should be fun.
I did it too. But so far only two of my friends were brave enough to comment, so I may be getting off easy. Smiley

Immediately after I saw y'all talking about this on here I went searching through some of my friends posts on facebook and comment on one!  I'm at school/work (where facebook is blocked from our computers) so I don't know if anyone's commented on it yet or not.

Hehe...I'm doing it, too!  In fact, the black scarf I started (which is coming out really well, in spite of my yarn worries!) and two of my dishcloths are becoming gifts for it.

I'm going to take pictures this weekend of all the stuff I've done, plus the in-progress scarf!

I crocheted a few more squares for the couch cover/blanket/enormous whatever I tricked myself into making done. The BF has gone back to work 2000 km away for a few months, so I'll be crafting up a storm I'm sure. Although I still haven't finished anything! Love the gloves too! Those things look awesome, and I love how useful they are!

Thanks!
My fingerless gloves were made with country by Naturallycaron.com in charcoal. The pattern is in the post (my phone doesn't like posting links or I would put it up here, sorry)
I have a feeling alot of my facebook projects are going to be crochet!

The problem I'm having now is deciding which finished crafts to include in my list of completed projects. A couple so far have been so quick and small that I almost feel like a cheater including them (like the bird ring I made, which is just a ceramic bird ornament hot-glued onto a ring blank). But if I include everything, my list of completed items so far:

- Knit hat for me
- Woven scarf
- Big clip-in hair bow
- Beaded necklace
- Bird ring

5/50, and only a week into 2011!  Cheesy

thanks! that's gonna have to go on my to do list.

i am obsessed with making fingerless gloves, even though i have enough already. i just keep finding such cute patterns that i can't resist. does anyone else have an addiction to making fingerless gloves?

Rag rug is FINISHED! It only took me a couple hours to whip up after all that work preparing the "yarn".

Halfway done

Done!
