I also call her TSM...I think I call you RLB and craftylittlemonkey is CLM...I know people shorten my user name to always or AIMR....we must have been nuts to pick such LONG user names! Grin

You are all welcome to call me Silver - or Susan or Sue if mine is a mouthful! Smiley

Back and refreshed and all caught up with the thread after my holiday. You must have all been too busy crafting to chat - I expected a lot more than 5 pages of posts to read!

I'm with you all on the yarn bombing! My bloggy resolution for the new year is to do at least one post a month as if I was Color Me Katie. I love her blog, it's so whimsical and full of fun. I think yarn bombing will definitely be on the agenda. I've already done the chalk footprints for a future post - they were a big hit in our caravan park!

The skirt is adorable on you!!!  How lucky that you have fabric to spare for yourself!!

I also love your little house ornament!  I might need to borrow that idea for something extra for my trainer and his wife...they bought a house this year!

Such nice swap items...lucky partner that you have mad skills!

Thanks, alwaysinmyroom!  Cheesy

Here's a link to the tutorial I used for the house.  Not that you couldn't figure it out on your own, but sometimes its nice not having to draft a pattern or template when one already exists. Cheesy

Plus my dh took some trash out of the apartment he was working on.There was 1 blasted soda can and the cops smelled of it.Someone had smoked marajuana,so they charged him with a misdemeanor. So he has to go to court after the first.Plus he has to get everything fixed before his court date. All this happened before the new year Cry.

Wow, what kind of state do you guys live in? By that logic, everyone's a criminal. Scary. Hope things look up for you.

Wow! I haven't been on craftster since the end of October, and there's so much catching up to do! But I'm up to 33 projects so far this year, and 34 and 35 will be done as soon as I get my butt off here and start working! I don't know if I can do 50 by the end of the year, so I'll make 40 my new goal Wink I'm already further than I was last year, so I feel good about that too! I love having you guys around for inspiration, too!

I'll have pics when I get done with these two things today.

Happy Holidays, all!

I finished a pair of bitty baby socks for my sister's embryo.  And here is the tutu for my friend's kids' dress up chest.  Happy holidays to all . . . this year has flown by; it's difficult to believe it is Christmas Eve!

Ok, I have been Seriously busy this last week. I am DETERMINED to make it to 50!  Cheesy

I made a dog bed to put in my boyfriend's Doxie puppy's crate. It's made of fleece, has two pillows inside and a refillable mesh bag of cedar shavings.

I've also been working on Christmas treats....

Pretzel Rollo Turtles

Cathedral Window Fudge (this batch was a little short on marshmallows)

Popcorn Balls ( we flavor ours with Jello)

Cran-Pistachio Cookies

There will be more soon.....  Grin

Darn it; I think I missed some pages.  (I had this thread open in a Firefox tab, and my browser crashed/restarted - that sort of messed up the whole "last viewed post" thing.  Embarrassed )

I have been crafting like crazy trying to get Christmas gifts done.  I actually still have three left to do, for family we won't actually see 'til the 7th.

But in the meantime...I've added photos to (most of) #'s 48-80 on my list.  These are recent projects (from November/December):

Upcycled hummingbird feeder and tutorial

Cloth colors book for Livia

Easy card tutorial

Elastic bookmark + tutorial

Soy candles (didn't think to take a picture - they don't look exciting)

Baby toy for our chiropractor's new baby

polka dot dresses  (There is another mostly-pink one for my baby, and another mostly-brown one for my niece, but I was already uploading a zillion photos, so I just added one.)

yarn containers

Advent calendar

"tin soldier" ornaments

crochet kit (proj. bag, hook roll, stitch markers)

satin robe

apron

GF chocolate crinkles

chocolate wrapper zipper pouches

Bible marking kit

faux quilted coasters

movie night baskets (4, including "recipe cards" w/ popcorn instructions)

magnetic Silly Putty (no photo)

sit-stand-walk ornaments

Alright I am so close to being finished with my Christmas crafting.  Two more gifts to make and that is it.

Heh...

here are a few that are already in their new homes...Okay maybe more than a few...its actually a ridiculous number of pictures.  Sorry for those with slow loading.  :/

zip up bags for a few men in my life...

My partner Phil was very picky about the fabrics I used on his...glad I involved him in the creation of it.  He selected this ridiculous faux cow hide; its lined in faux suede and it has little leather grips on the side for easy zipping/unzipping.  Cheesy

Pork cuts embroidery for my partner Phil, he loves to cook and he loves pork.  Cheesy

Art plaque for my brother in law and his wife of their son James.

Small zippy wallet for my sister - tutorial here at noodlehead http://www.noodle-head.com/2009/10/zippy-wallet-tutorial.html

Mother necklace for sister in law

Birds nest necklace for mother in law (w/the grandkids birthstones)

leather keyring for Phil's grandmother's husband...Jerry.  His last name starts with a "P" and he is such a sweet man.

"long line of kids"  necklace for Phil's grandmother...her children and her grandchildren are represented on the "line" and her two great grandchildren (Aria being one of the two) are represented on the chain.  I'm very proud of this although the design is simple.

lavender sachets for my sister

steampunk necklace for my sister

applique skully hoodie for my nephew

And finally a dolly for Aria - pattern is from Wee Wonderfuls http://www.weewonderfuls.com/store/

She has her own post here.  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=400334.0

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Delightful Night to you all!  Cheesy

Those all look like lovely gifts for your family, rlynn Smiley  I'm going to try to go all handmade next year like I did last year, but instead of everyone getting all the same thing, I'm going to try to go the personalized route with special OOAK gifts for each of them.
