QueenNinjaMonkey - what a great ornament! I wish I had done more of that type of crafting when my girls were young...

rlynn - What a nice package! I am sure that Aria is going to love those jingly cuffs! And those buttons are beautiful!

I have spent all evening making a monster bookmark kit for my sister, and I still have a long way to go. She saw the little monster bookmarks that go on the corner of a book and thought it would be a fun project for her 3rd grade students. So, I have spent all evening cutting out and scoring the bodies, and cutting out teeth. I stopped when I realized that I would probably need to hand cut out thirty sets of eyes (whites, colors, and black pupils...) since none of my circle punches are the right size... (damn you circles! I have bought almost every possible tool to cut circles and I STILL don't have the right sizes...grrr). I also made half of a button tree hoopla for my step mom. Now, I am going to bed!

ha ha I had so much fun with those jingle bell cuffs...I hope they fit her little tiny ankles!! If the noise gets to be too much, I did make the bells removeable... Smiley  Glad you liked the prizes!

DawnsTrees--those monster bookmarks sound intriguing!  Can't wait to see a picture!  Isn't it the way?  You have tons of supplies and tools but NEVER what you need!! ha ha poor thing...the kids are going to love your kits!

Nice!  A welcomed gift for sure!

Are the bands topstitched over the pleated parts?  I thought I saw a tutorial on this in purses but I can't seem to find it!

Dawnstrees--that is a pretty awesome Christmas tree on your profile pics...made from book pages?  I need to look that one up...I love it!  Maybe I saw it on another thread...not sure, but it is something I have always wanted to do!

I made this rainbow monster thingy to put under the Kmart Wishing Tree

I also finished all the superhero packs. Why is it that something that takes only a few minutes on its own take exponentially longer when you have to make a bunch of them?

I also made 7 matching capes out of old Mens tees, but I only have a photo of three of them.

Still got a crochet cricket ball, and these jolly knit gloves to go.

Is the monster made with the psychedelic yarn?  It is awesomely cute!!!

Also, I know the super hero stuff is going to be popular...everyone needs a cape... Grin

Making them from t-shirts is a great idea!

Yup, I thought for a charity xmas gift I should bust out the "precious" yarn Cheesy

And I got the cape idea off Pinterest! It appeals to me as a mother who is sick of retying cape and mask ties.

The four not pictured have been placed into an awesome Avengers bag Oodelally made for me, along with a flashlight, rope, suction cup hooks, and a sheet with loops sewn on the edges, to make a Superhero Fort Kit.

The tut was from noodlehead. the band was sewn on before the purse was sewn together.

the clutches look great, as does the super hero stuff.

Today I finished a table cloth and ten place mats.  Hope to finish another ten place mats tomorrow {just have to stitch the turning hole closed.  Also need to finish two pillows and get my nieces to wrap their presents for the family up {if they come over, they've been sick the past two days}.

This week
3 hankeys
3 santa outfits
50 place mats
3 boo boo buddies
knitting kit/bag
night gown and robe
blouse

Looking for Mccalls 6337 sewing pattern, if you have a copy you'd be willing to share/give/sell please let me know.  The bag costs $60 and I think perhaps I could make it cheaper/

Thanks! Grin Yes, it is made out of an old catalog. I made that last year and posted about it here. If you have access to something like a scroll-saw it would be super easy (I did it with exact blades and scissors... a bit less easy, but still do-able)

SilverMoon - masks, cuffs, capes, AND a Superhero Fort Kit??? Can I come over to play at your house? (*sulking*... I want a Superhero Fort Kit...didn't even think to ask for a Superhero Fort Kit...)
