I hope things start looking up for you soon Anitacj.

On the crafting front, was told this morning, everything needs to be cleared out of the room by Friday so here's my list for the week:

30 placemats
10 hot pads
nightgown
2 house coats
dressy jacket
suit
blouse
blouse
4 pairs of pyjamas
6 hanker chiefs
doll tent
doll swing, slide, spinner
doll clothes
doll blankets
lip chap
painted glasses

All that needs to be done it machine sewing, all hand sewing can be done when I've lost use of the craft room for a couple weeks.

I got another item done off my list today, my first bleach stenciled shirt...

Working on some other things today too, hopefully I can cross a few more off my list today!

Silvermoon--love your headband...do you do make buttonholes for that or are they buttoned in the stitch?

Actually, they are just decorative to cover up the dodgy looking seam Cheesy They are sewn on, and don't open.

I finished a pair of mismatched Guitar playing mobius mitts last night. The right hand has a crochet guitar appliqued on it, and the left is much shorter, with matching trim. The way I made them, Master Three's music teacher should be able to wear them while playing guitar.

geez j_kievet--you are making us look like slackers! Cheesy

I am feverishly working on two more sock monkey hats and finishing up my scrappy swap before the holidays...hopefully, by Saturday, I will be working on my Christmas items!  Most of those are decorations, so there is no real pressure...

QNM--love the bleached pen shirt!  It turned out looking neat and clear!

btw--I realized that part of the fun we all had last year was commenting on our lists and stealing ideas Cheesy  so, I am back to one thread but more organized...more after the holidays! Cheesy

oops-silvermoon, I had no idea that there was such a thing as guitar cuffs...a pretty good idea, actually!

Dawnstrees--you must take at least a few pictures...your projects are wonderful...I would love to see the film bows!

I made a penguin light bulb ornament I saw on Pinterest, next time I'll use some kind of spray primer, the paint really didn't want to stick.

I sprayed him with glitter but you can't tell in the pic.

I also attempted home made bread, it didn't rise though. It's filled with garlic herb butter so it tastes good, it's just very thick and slightly doughy. I discovered the probable culprit, the yeast expired in 2009.  Tongue  But I made it and I'm counting it!  Cheesy

I've been working away, but it's all been for swaps. I just need to get this swap finished so I can move on to making wedding items for my sister and Christmas items for my family.

I didn't know yeast expired until I tried to use it one time...yeah, the bread was a bit awful Cheesy

Wedding crafts are fun but they definitely have a deadline!

We replaced most of our light bulbs with those efficient ones...did you use acrylic paint?  I have tons of the old ones ...

wow - it's looking good on here guys - loving AIMR's cryptic clues about next year  Cheesy

that bleach stencilled tee shirt is fab - excuse my ignorance, is it just normal bleach?

I'm slowly getting back into it - had a lot of readjusting to do of late, and think my crafting took a bit of a blow, but I've made myself an insane list of things to make for Christmas, to try and force myself back into the mood, cos the stupid thing is, I enjoy it once I'm doing it, and it makes me feel better - it seems to be the starting I have a problem with.
Should be able to post pics at the weekend, but at the mo I have completed (along with the scarf, skirt and socks), two hats, two scarves and a heart flannel, which takes me to 33/50.

And I've decided to take the plunge and put up my list to be done for Christmas (hope that's OK), cos if it's down in writing, it may give me the kick up the harris I need to complete it, so here goes *deep breath*:

Cupcake bath bombs (2 or 3 batches)
Bath cookies (2 or 3 batches)
2 more heart flannels
A bucket load of tawashis and make up remover pads
6 happy poo amigurumi
2 pairs of fingerless gloves
6 record bowls
crochet scarf
crayon cakes
pencil case
project bag
2 bags (must do - already been requested)
peppermint bark (about 6 batches)
2 x personalised lighters
1 pair kids button flap mittens

and, if there's time, 3 or 5 poppets, but I reckon that's pushing my luck a little bit  Shocked

So, watch this space for monumental failure!!  Grin
