Love all the really cool charity things on here, and feel super duper guilty for neglecting my 50+ I have gotten a ton done and most is swap related but I just can't seem to find my lists. I also love that we are up to 500 pages and w/ meleriffic's & I's posts we are passed 5001 posts!   KEWL!

rlynn--you have given some great details on the trash bag for the car/truck...I always wondered how to make them stay open so they would be used!  I really need a couple of those for our cars....the floor is my hubby's choice and I hate that!!!

I made my friend a little nurse, because when he started at his new job his desk seemed too empty. He used to be a nurse, and he works at an employment agency getting placements for nurses, so when I saw this on Ravelry I had to make it for him. Mind you, it has been in my queue over a year now, but he's finally going to get it. lol

It seems like I’m in the middle of a lot of big projects – and crunch time at work – so I had to sit down this weekend and play a little.  Here’s what I’ve got:
44. Chloe’s scratching plank
My girl cats loves to sharpen her claws, but the posts on her cat condo are really too short for her to get in a good stretch.  So I made her a scratching “plank” that she can really go to town on.

I put ties on the ends so that, if her condo ever gives out, we can tie it onto a doorknob.

And I put ties on both ends so we can rotate it and flip it over as she wears out the sisal.  A simple thing, but it makes her happy!

45. Copper plant tags[
I’ve coveted these for years, but they are too expensive – and not specific enough.  But last night I sat down with a $6 pack of 40 gauge squares and made labels for all my hostas and some of the other special plants I have in my garden.  (Sorry for the quality of the photo; shooting highly reflective copper at night in a dim room is tough!)

I folded the tags in half for a little more stability, punched a hole in each tag, and suspended them from stakes cut from dark coat hangers.  I made about 18 from the package I had and the hangers I had on hand.

My nurse friend also just moved house, so as a housewarming gift, I made him an anti-zombie fortification:

Its a pea shooter from the highly addictive webgame Plants VS Zombies. He should be safe for a while.

And not a project in itself, but here is the pile of hats I donated today.

(Although taking three kids under the age of 8 on an hour long train ride and then multiple trains and trams in the city in 86F degree heat should be a project by itself lol)
You can't really see it, but the batman one is laying on the purple pillow.

#50 on my list (I'm not doing them in order)

Crocheted owl baby hat - this is the first project that I've done where I'm starting to get the hang of how to get certain looks, so when I couldn't really understand part of the pattern I pulled from other hat patterns I've used to get it to look how I wanted to.
I'm still a beginner and this is finally the first project where I felt like I do actually have some knowledge in this big ole head of mine about what I'm doing. It was a nice feeling.
