Crafting (and everything else in my life) has been put on hold because my baby boy was readmitted to the hospital Tuesday. Nothing as major as his heart problem before, but it is another setback on his road to recovery. Sad

I'm going home tomorrow to spend some time with my daughter, and I'm gonna pack some yarn and needles -- I don't think I have any knitting or crocheting on my list, but I will soon!

I'm so sorry.  Sending you positive thoughts.

My partner for the OWS received her fabric banner.
19. fabric banner for OWS

I need to take stock of what I have done.  And I really need to finish some of the projects I started...I have a poppet that is sewn and stuffed but not assembled, no clothing, no hair.  I also have a doll and 3 doll outfits for Aria that are cut out but not sewn.  And tons of wool felt fall leaves cut out but not strung together to form a garland...  but I need to get to my last OWS claim first...and Aria's Ponyo bloomers and fat felt ham accessory.  And her elephant stuffie...

Deeder - sending you lots of positive thoughts

Tonight I am going to try to get my swap item at least started and try a new technique for a holiday ornament that I saw. I had a couple of "meh" crafting days recently, lets hope that tonight is better!

3 more completed projects for Aug/Sept. I think that puts me at 6.  Would have liked to do 10, but that didn't work out

I finished my hat! It's too pretty not to share!

I made my 7yo model it for me because I couldn't get the colours to show up right when it was on my head.

(sorry about the very large pics, but my internet is very slow today and I didn't have the patience to upload them to Craftster as well as the other sites, so no resize option)

rlynn - that fabric banner turned out great! I hope your partner loved it

cursive_queen - that is an adorable baby blanket! Both of my daughters were given quilts as newborns and they still have them and cherish them (they are now 15 and 20...)

skittlebub - super cute bag! I love the ruffles. Maybe a cute bag like that would help me remember to bring my tote to the grocery store...

SilverMoon - That hat is so much fun! If I didn't look horrible in hats, I would absolutely want to wear this!

I spent yesterday trying (and in general failing) to make holiday ornaments. Sad  I am trying again later today, so hopefully I will have something worthy of posting later!

I love pennants!  Rlynn--so colorful and fun

silvermoon--love the hat!  You do such lovely crochet work...I need to work on making my stitches more even!  The rainbow turned into stripes so nicely!

cursive queen--that is a stunning quilt!!!  Such a big project, too!  The pillows are lovely...

skittlebub--I have been seeing some ruffled purses...I want to make a knitted one...yours turned out so cute

dawnstrees--I am trying to get my Halloween mojo...nothing I have tried so far is turning out like I want!

deeder--I am praying for your baby and your family...it must be a horrible stresser for you...keep busy and let us know what is going on...

I have caught up on packaging up packages for various prizes and things I have promised to everyone (except you, sheepblue...I am still gathering things Cheesy)....then, I will tally for the August/Sept prize winner!

Any ideas for October themes? Cheesy
