Those baby carrots do sound good!

I'm so in awe of everyone's progress. I'm starting to feel like moving should count as 5 or so projects  Wink

Always!!- I got my box from you today. The fabric is gooooooooooooorgeous! Thank you so so much! I'm gonna post pics after this weekend.

Moving is such a hassle!  It will take a bit to get settled in...it should count as 50 projects! Cheesy

Glad you liked the fabrics...It was pretty easy to stalk you... Cheesy

*********

I love the little pirate ducky!  I might have to turn one of my rubber ducks into a pirate for Halloween...

also, the hoop is gorgeous...I love the bright colors against the blue background...I just can't imagine how everyone comes up with such gorgeous hoops after six rounds! Cheesy

I also love the duckie pattern! I'm almost done with another project, just about half a handsewn rolled hem to go.  Also, while not a project, I kind of had an epiphany that will hopefully help me get more done.  I've decided that sewing clothes is my craft.  Not to say I won't do other things, but I've always been so ADD about crafting but when I'm making garments I just roll with it so well.  It's nice to know that I've found my niche.  Smiley

Trying to catch up again....  So many cool things being made.  I finished two this week.  I don't have pictures for the first one.  It is a very simple bracelet made from t-shirt yarn and finger weaving.  It actually looks pretty cool.  I was looking for a simpler project to take to festivals.  It needs to be portable, quick and cheap.  It is certainly inexpensive.  I am almost afraid to put out the call for old brightly colored t-shirts as I will likely be buried in them in short order.  Portable works since one tub will hold a boatload of 'yarn'!

My second project was to make a book finial.  This week's Iron Craft challenge was to make something out of a book.

Since the camera was handy I made an unnecessary tutorial posted on my blog.  http://twasbrilligand.blogspot.com/2011/08/done-reading-ic-35-book-finial.html

I also finished about a dozen sunprint shirts and got photos of most of my upcycled badges.  I am slowly getting things posted in my shop so a lot of my crafting time is going into that stuff rather than working on my 50 things.

I don't think I've had the epiphany yet. I'm still kind of ADD with crafts.

Still just working away on swap projects, though I have a couple of wedding necklaces I need to start soon, as well as September birthday presents.

I'm not supplying the library, but we are hosting a fall rally for TOPS, we'll be having a game night, so we have  activities, and need a prize for every person who plays, so to be safe, I'm making 65 of everything.  One member made 75 crocheted dish clothes for one game.

prizes include:
fishy soap - 65 made by me
weather forecaster - 65 made by me
water beads - 65 made by me
binder clip notepad - 65 made by me
dish cloth - 75 made by another member
crochet flower brooch - 60 made by my mom
book marks - 65 made by me

still to make:
sandwich wraps - 65 for in registration gift bag
magnets
coffee cozies - for in registration gift bags

Currently working on jammies, robe, sleep cap, and slippers for my nieces "off to kindergarten" gift.

J_K and I thought I was overwhelmed working in multiples.

Thanks always.  I made it a while ago.  For some reason, I never think to post my sunpainting.  The fact that I never manage to take pictures probably has something to do with it.  Maybe I'll get motivated and take some shots while it is nice out today.

I was going to say earlier, my epiphany was joining the 50 projects list last year. I realized the only way I was going to tame my craft ADD was to set some goals.  Doing it on this list where I get positive reinforcement when I finish something has done wonders for modifying my behavior!  Thanks all.

I am doing multiples now for a Halloween Project...it is tough because I can barely stay focused, but knowing I have to get them done is giving me some discipline! Cheesy

I truly think that sometimes being "out of focus" is what drives my creativity...that's my story and I am sticking to it! Cheesy
