Fabulous projects as always.  This is crazy time for me as my big festival/race event is this weekend and I am supposed to be completely focused on that.  I have been working all summer with a quick last gasp this week to make badges to donate for charity sale at the event.  I got the packaging mostly worked out so I am pretty excited about that too.



I just noticed I cropped out most of the basket of badges.  There are over 100 of them that I have made this summer.  They all have iron on sticky on the back and are all attached to the card.  Except for the 8 large canoe patches, they were all made from one pair of jeans! 

I have no idea how to count these toward my project list....  but I'll worry about that later.  It is back to work for me now.

Any photo on Craftster is up for grabs...as long as it is not used improperly (like claiming you made stuff and you did not, which this group would NEVER do!)...sometimes my partners take WAY better photos than I do!!

wow--look at all the goodies slientblair got!  You outdid yourself!  It must be fun to do Dr. Who stuff...there are so many things unique to that show...I still want to make the scarf...

AIMR - I have started a scarf for the OH, I started it last year sometime, & when I get in a crafting rut I work on it. He doesn't care when it's finished because he's just happy he's getting one. I'm using crochet through & going through the back loops to get the ribbed effect like in the show

So that baby sweater that I have been bringing up over and over again all year. Well, I was doing the left front panel and realize how silly the designer was for putting a garter-stitch for the borders around a stockinette stitch as the g-s stitches are much shorter. It makes the panel all bent out of shape. So what do I do after I made a bajillion rows? Drop every other column in the garter stitch section down to the begining and use a crochet hook to make that section seed stitch. I was exhausted from that experience as I have to sit in a chair near a really bright light, staring very intently to the work with eyes inches away. After 2 hours of that it was all fixed(or better anyways) and now I can only hope that I never have to go through that again.

That ninja pattern is crazy cute. I think I may need to go peruse that UT site. Not for me, because I don't even have a regular sewing machine here at home, but my Mum has one of those fancy ones...
