OK--my goal this first weekend in 2011 is to organize!

Here is my first project to help me keep track of what hook I am using for my crochet projects!

If you are like me, you have several projects that use the same size hook...I have multiple needles of the sizes I use most, but sometimes, even that is not enough...so, to be sure I don't forget which hook I am using, I made these combo crochet markers and hook markers...

First, I made a boatload of paper beads from my 2010 calendar pages...I guess that could count as a project as well Cheesy

The project behind the markers will be done today as well...as you can see, I have marked it with the marker "K"...

I made a few of the sizes I use the most, like "I" and "J"...since I made plenty of beads and bought plenty of those lobster clasps, I can make them as I need them as I
organize my projects today!

So, I guess I have 2/50 done today! Cheesy

Those are neat Always! I made some paper beads before but never made much with them. That's a great idea.

I'm about 15% away from finishing my Teesha Moore bag!!! I finished stitching all the panels together and have to whip up a lining and some handles and then sew the rest of it all together  Grin Grin I might have two things to post at the end of today!

The paper beads are lightweight and will not pull on the yarn...as an added bonus, if you hook it to your last loop, it will keep your work from unraveling! Cheesy

Can't wait to see your bag!!  I still have my TM stuff in a box--hopefully I will get it done sometime this year!

ha ha I love your #4--I had no idea that there was more than one way to do mashed potatoes!

We are a mashed potato family. My fiancee's favorite kind being carrot mashed potatoes. They are awesome.

Thanks for the link...I just got my first issue for 2011 of Vegetarian Times so I am collecting more recipes for fruits and veggies!

These will help me with my 2011 resolution for a healthier lifestyle! Cheesy

Happy New Year Everyone!!  NEW RULES

PLEASE NOTE NEW RULES:

Please do not post your list multiple times...you can do a mini list if you add items so that the rest of us can steal ideas from it Cheesy  Just not the whole list over and over...

Sorry about that.  I've gone through and edited my posts.

I like the beads you made as well.  They look really pretty; hard to believe they were paper.

redflags, cute hat.  I need to get on the ball.  Tonight I plan on working on a very late Christmas gift, a swap item, and if I have time number 9 from my list...the wee waka training pants for Aria.

musiclady - i really love that felt board! i hope your daughter likes it. Wink

redflags - I love your hat! Believe me--sewing a seam is MUCH more involve than knitting with circular or double pointed needles.

always - what a clever idea! genius!

Here's my second project for 2011! I'm not going to post them anywhere on Craftster b/c I'm sure they've been done a million times already.  Cheesy

#37 - Wool Dryer Balls

I guess I went sorta crazy making them, but winding yarn is endlessly entertaining.  I've decided that these will all become part of gift baskets for family and friends this year. Smiley

Here's a picture so you can see the scale of them:

48 more to go!

ha ha batgirl--

lapoli--wow--those are great!  Is that part of your stash I see peeking out in the back!! wow--looks like you have plenty of yarn to make 48 more!

no problem rlynn--the post your list only once rule was at the request of many members who were in the 2010 CAL to try to keep this thread from being easier to maneuver through! Cheesy  Still, no one is going to get busted for doing their own thing! (I am not huge on rules since I can never remember them... Cheesy)
