Yay ffrog it looks awesome! Can't wait to see modeled spinning pictures (because you can't have a skirt like that and not spin!)

Silvermoon that dragon is adorable!

I'm still kicking, have two big projects that I HAVE to finish by the end of the month, so I should probably get back to them.

Keep the crafty juices flowing!

Hi guys, I've been workin on some self patterning socks today, am trying to justify the RIDICULOUS amount of money I spent in a lovely yarn shop today- I only went for a bamboo crochet hook (like I was only ever go na buy that, lol!!)
I have a question for you clever folks, if u can help? I bought some really thick wool today-it's almost like it's the pre-ball of wool stage (if that makes sense?)  I bought it cos it was pretty, but now I need to use it, to justify how much I paid for it, lol! But I'm a bit stumped on ideas. I was thinking of a chunky scarf thing(u know the round ones? Almost like the neck of a polo-neck (think it might be called a turtleneck in America?) but I was  wondering if u clever folks might have any better ideas? It feels like it needs a special project as it's so pretty, and Ahem... Expensive!! I can post a pic in the Mornin if it helps. Thank u for any help you can offer!!! X

Inspiration without application is moot.

Are you thinking of a cowl? That would be lovely! And the yarn? Is it a bulky or Icelandic weight?

Yeah!! That's the word!! I got impatient and made one today. I dunno wat Icelandic weight is? It's a really thick yarn, an parts of it are twisted, and parts are still really thick and untwisted. I've got one hank left, I'd love to make something really special with it! Thanx for ur help, gonna go get my laptop an post pics- I can't upload from my phone x

Thank You. If you had a laptop maybe you could make a band(kind of like a book band) that slips over your screen?

Yeah, but I have a 19" wide screen LCD monitor. I need a digital one lol, that doesn't move when I move the mouse. I suppose I could always open the chart in Gimp and put a coloured layer to do the job, but that's messing around with pdfs and etc and I'm just too lazy. But it is a great idea for paper or laptops.  Cheesy
