sorry for the xpost! I actually meant to post this here, but accidentally posted it in the de-stash along instead. I guess it applies to both though, hehe.

I finished a couple of things recently,

first up is another quilt top. The pattern is "bohemian window pane"

next is a little mitten ornament

a patchwork needle/hook case

three hook/needle holders with batik remnants from my batik quilt top. tied shut with yellow grosgrain ribbon

You know how I said I was making a monster bag? I started it with an oval base, so it was turning out a lot wider that I first intended. I'd done about an inch or two up the sides, and then my friend, whose birthday (on Thursday) I was making this for, sent me an sms on Friday night. Inviting me to her birthday party the next night. In 22 hours.

So I picked up some black yarn, whipped up a much smaller one round oval, and followed on from there with some purple fun fur yarn. I had a birthday party to take my 5yo to Sat afternoon, so I had a total of 8 hours working on this, and had to finish sewing the details on, on the train to meet my friend! She loved it though.

So that's my June entry done Smiley (Apologies for the poor lighting/bad photo - it was taken at the train station, after she opened it Smiley )

Cute monster!

I spent a weekend with my mom shopping craft stores...as if I didn't have enough stuff in my craft room! I am now the proud owner of two full trash bags full of alpaca fiber...now on to the cleaning and carding :p haven't done this before any tips from the lovely spinning craftsters?

I have decided I wanted to enter my state fair this year for the first time for knitting and possibly cross-stitch. I am working on one of the knitting projects now but for the other I am having a beyond terrible hard time finding yarn in fingering weight in the right colors. Ugh. Not fun. If I don't find them I am going to have to try that project another year and do another one  Undecided

Made this for my hubby for his birthday. It's a case for his Moto Droid.

I was originally going to alter a white hoodie to look like R2, which is actually on my original 50 projects 2011 list. But that plan was before I started an Etsy shop, and now I just don't really have time for a whole hoodie. So I came up with this instead, and I think it'll get more use anyway, and it's more sensible  Wink

So... that's not the droid you were looking for?  Cheesy

I think a Droid cover is much more appro than a hoodie anyway Wink

I love the bows on the top, mel--and those pillowcase gowns are just too cute!  You have the cutest pillowcases!

I am blown away by the altered puzzles...I just can't imagine the work that goes into those!

You did a good job spraypainting, QNM!  I finally got one of those ergonomics spray can attachment thingies...I hope it will help me spray more steady as I have a bookcase that needs revamping!

Waggonswest--I just love your wool embroidered purses...I cut up and old wool suit of mine to try my hand at it, but I have just not been brave enough to do such a brig machine embroidery!

ha ha--those patches are so cool!  What a cute way to have the kids remember summer fun!  Thanks for the link (again) to you awesome patterns!

silvermoon--a purple monster bag is a much needed thing...

I am now up to 9 Ninni's...addictive...I am in the process of cleaning out my Mom's house so crafting has been the furtherest thing from my mind...but, a little crafting has kept me from going nuts!

A droid case!  I have been looking for fun ideas for my cell phone...the black case I have gets lost in my bag!  Maybe white will help me find my phone! Cheesy I love R2D2!

So for the June challenge I did a felt embroidery hoop.
