I got a project done that fits the June challenge. Yea! And it only took me 30 minutes at the most (with a child crawling all over me).

It is inspired by this post: Long sleeved to Bow sleeve T-shirt. (I used the tutorial but didn't add the neck detail.)

ETA: I also made 2 more pillowcase nightgowns from the Gingercake tutorial.

Inspiration without application is moot.

Aww, I love those pillowcase nightdresses. They look like ones I would have worn to twirl, twirl, twirl around in before falling into a deep sleep. Does she twirl in them?

Great work meleriffic.

Thanks Always, I have to be a party planner when I can't just order stuff online, hoping the postal strike ends soon.

Looking for Mccalls 6337 sewing pattern, if you have a copy you'd be willing to share/give/sell please let me know.  The bag costs $60 and I think perhaps I could make it cheaper/

I got 2 more projects done this weekend. I'm redoing my bedroom and I spray painted some shelves black.

I didn't get a before pic but this bookshelf was unfinished pine, even using primer it sucked up many cans of spray paint  Tongue

Then I did this ugly little stand

and here it is with all my crap on it  Cheesy

Meleriffic, I love that top!

QueenNinjaMonkey, those shelves look great! I can't believe you spray painted them! I just ruined an old bookshelf because I got tired of trying to use spray paint on it. Now it resides in the garage. You must have lots of patience!

Finally finished my altered puzzles:

Whew! Now on to some sewing projects ... so nervous!

Those altered puzzles are really amazing. I love how they are all comic themed!
