Made a dress this week for stepdaughter's 5th grade graduation.  She was having a meltdown and didn't want to wear anything in her closet as it wasn't "fancy enough".  I'm half pleased with how it turned out -- I wish I would have done the straps differently - but lack of coordinating fabric and time were constraints.  I hope to post pics of everything I've done in the last month+ this weekend.

Great socks and skirt.

What yarn are the socks made from?

Alright, that was much more long winded than you required. Wink

Honestly no, not too much info at all! It is something to keep in mind if when I confront the same issue.

Love the socks! I have got to learn to knit!

On a slight side note I stopped by a local yarn shop today and found out that a bunch of LYSs are doing a "yarn tour" I hit two and came out with three new projects  Smiley but I wish I had known sooner there are over 20 shops on the tour! On a slightly sad note neither of the two I stopped at were offering much of anything in crochet Sad

I may have to join the bi-stitchuals and learn to knit this year rather than next Wink

I should have my next project done within the next week. It is a single colored embroidery hoop for he color swap. It is actually coming out quite nicely. Smiley

Aw, come join Ravelry and I will give you a personal tour of all of the glorious crochet patterns there. Smiley

I agree RLB---if it were not for Ravelry, I would have not improved my crochet skills...it changed my mind that crochet was only amigurumis and granny squares! Cheesy

I am now an official bi-stitchual! Cheesy

Sorry that I have not been keeping up-to-date...I think I have all the names now of the two challenges and will draw both winners this weekend! Cheesy

I will start another challenge in June just to catch my breath!

Keep reaching for the goal of 50 or more!  We are not even halfway through the year, so everyone keep busy and keep posting...I will be a posting hog in a few days! Cheesy

I also want to look at all the projects I missed so I can steal a few ideas! Cheesy
